Yeah I wouldn't call it a Pyrrhic victory ... it's frankly devastating and could close the gate on gaining anything back in the future -> what they do in these 2 years. But it came at a cost. The question is whether it's like the cost you pay for acquiring a company and the cost doesn't matter because the acquisition got you a monopoly.
I think the Republicans, weasels that they are, have more to fear from Trump than the democrats do at the moment. They are useless. They are the enabling parent in a family where the drunk comes home and beats the kids and the enabler says 'we must preserve the family, so you kids will just have to keep getting beaten.'

I agree that is what he meant...he is devastated and he tried. On the news they are talking having Pence invoke the 25th amendment and throw Trump out now...and I am deeply saddened that it may very well happen. Trump asked for this ‘rally’ today, people spent money to go. People were waiting for the Kraken, or all of this evidence of fraud, or proof of corruption. Then Trump gives a campaign speech filled with nothing interesting. Pence then says he can’t do anything to thwart the electoral vote counting process (which is true), that I predicted he would do. Nevertheless this enraged the Patriots and they took some civil disobedience action finally after 4 years of being taunted and provoked.
Trump’s reaction? Tell everyone to calm down, and just go home. I’ll say it again, Trump will receive a huge backlash from his supporters who will be former supporters after Trumps tweets today. Trumps supporters showed up to back him up today, and Trump abandoned them!

Oh yeah I totally agree. It’s just that I used to think of them as .00000001% useful. Not any more. They are worse than nothing because they occupy the space an ethical and sincere opposition should occupy.

Did you ever think maybe the man is just Damn tired...he went thru hell and back and there is no place the man and his family will be safe. He exposed exactly who the enemy is on both sides. Sometimes you have to know when to fold them.
The man did more than any President in history to reveal how deep the rabbit hole went...maybe now we have to look inwards at ourselves.
