Quite simply you cannot stop the spread of a virus with masks, face shields, social distancing or lockdowns.
There is only one way to stop a virus and that is herd immunity. Whether synthetic or the good old fashion way. I just hope we will be allowed to choose for ourselves whether synthetic or natural.
On another note, had we done nothing there is a very good chance we would already have this virus behind us.
Exactly right.. I believe 80% of people who got it had worn masks all or most of the time. The best defense is good health and distance.

I live with a physical disability that causes shortness of breath. I’m not wearing anything that makes breathing more difficult. Have to wear a mask to get into a medical facility and have to sit with the mask pulled away a few inches from my face or pulled down to get the feeling i’m not struggling for air. Anyone that complains I just ignore.
Sadly the mask would not in anyway reduced his chances of contracting the virus.

I think the best solution is to inject yourself with a live virus that will irreparably alter your DNA and cause a plethora of other medical issues to your now shortened life span or perhaps shoot up something harvested from aborted baby humans. But whatever happens, please, by all means, gird your pie hole with a porous face diaper so you can breathe in your own pathogens!

It all started with a couple of days of terrible aches and pains. Had a fever for about 10 days, up and down, and then a couple of days of a bit of a dry cough. Thankfully it didn't go into my lungs. I attribute that to the zinc and quinine water. I would have preferred tablets of HCQ, but beggars can't be choosers.
All anyone has to do is look at the data of transmissions before everyone was wearing a mask and then after.
The Michigan Dept. of HHS runs commercials stating that masks stop 70% of transmissions. It’s utter BS - there’s zero empirical data and zero peer reviewed science that supports that.
According to the data (assuming you believe it and believe the tests are accurate) masks have made things worse.
Personally, I don’t believe the data anymore. The virus is real, people do die, ok - got it. How does that justify tyranny? ...that is what the whole world is engaging in and none of us voted for it.
Have been on HCQ once/week and daily elemental zinc sulfate since April. Have travelled, dined, and lived my life w nary a sniffle. Sorry to hear stories like this; lives that could have been easily saved.
You don’t understand the physics at all
The mask does not operate as a colander.
n95 mask has the worst filtration for particles around .3 but actually does better for smaller particlers.
It is counter to what people understand because they think of it as a sieve or colander.
If you really want to even begin to understand the physics you have to research the term Brownian motion.
I would say the majority here just have no concept of the physics aspect of this.
And I only have a bare minimum understanding.
If you truly want to understand you have to start looking at the engineering and physics aspects..and even Mds dont bother to do it.
