You don’t understand the physics at all
The mask does not operate as a colander.
n95 mask has the worst filtration for particles around .3 but actually does better for smaller particlers.
It is counter to what people understand because they think of it as a sieve or colander.
If you really want to even begin to understand the physics you have to research the term Brownian motion.
I would say the majority here just have no concept of the physics aspect of this.
And I only have a bare minimum understanding.
If you truly want to understand you have to start looking at the engineering and physics aspects..and even Mds dont bother to do it.

and keep in mind that a Virus particle attaches to something...changing it’s size
Brownian Motion, like Einstein explained.
Even in a colander, it will stop some objects smaller than the holes.
