Vice President Mike Pence, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy, and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell have reached an informal backroom deal to expedite the January 6 challenge in the Electoral College and end it with a simple majority vote after a two hour debate, multiple Capitol Hill sources have confirmed to National File. This comes after National File reported that McCarthy originally planned to work with Pelosi to change the January 6 rules so the challenge would not be allowed. McCarthy denied this, and our Capitol Hill sources now say that McCarthy instead pursued a backroom deal with Congressional leadership.
Our sources explain that McCarthy was motivated to form this loose plan due to fears that Rep. Liz Cheney will lead a revolt against McCarthy from the liberal wing of the Republican Party.
The informal agreement is to cap the debate at two hours, then have Congressional leadership gavel over any objections and pursue a scripted simple majority vote to confirm the electoral votes, National File’s sources explain.
One source noted that this will likely conjure images of the 2012 Republican convention, when former RNC Chair John Boehner ignored loud objections from former Texas Rep. Dr. Ron Paul’s delegates, and read from an already prepared script on a teleprompter instead. This example was captured on video.
This likely calls into question Pence’s claim that the millions of voters who feel disaffected by the credible reports of widespread voter fraud will “have their day in Congress,” as this “day” may be cut short by top leadership.
National File previously asked McCarthy’s office whether Pence was informed of any rule changes that might have been proposed by either the Minority Leader or Pelosi and did not receive a response.

A two hour debate. That’s constitutional. Any member of Congress has a right to object to the electors. Then representatives adjourned to their chamber and senators adjourned their chamber for two hours.
And we all know at the end of the day Democrats as well as Republicans will overwhelmingly select Joe Biden as president.
If they try this, no force on Earth will be capable of saving them from the wrath to come.
If this is what transpires, they are setting up the conditions for revolt and civil strife.
Either vote fraud occurred, or it did not. If it happened, it was quite large and can be demonstrated. There is little in between.
A 2 hour debate is specified in the 12th amendment.
You’re wrong. The two hours of debate is per objection. Each state’s electors being presented to Congress for acceptance is an independent event. In this case, there are six states in question, therefore six independent objections. Two hours’ debate per state, thus 12 hours.
I don't think anyone who honestly looked at all this thought it was going to end up any way other than CW-II.
My only question at this point is: where's the front line? Will it be in D.C. or somewhere else? (Asking for a friend who's packing his provisions and calculating best driving route.)

Is is Constitutional — IF there is only one objection. If there are two objections, then two two-hour debates. Six states have massive fraud, so 6x2=12 hours.
