Joe Biden’s view of religious freedom is exceedingly narrow. Where religious freedom conflicts with the goals of liberalism, he supports suppressing it. He has promised Planned Parenthood that he will resume the Obama-era harassment of the Little Sisters of the Poor and other religious groups if they don’t conform to his mandates. During the campaign, he opposed “broad exemptions” for those who resist his view of LGBTQ rights.
One of Biden’s transition officials is Chai Feldblum, who has spoken openly of her opposition to religious freedom. She has written, “Protecting one group’s identity may, at times, require that we burden others’ belief liberty.”
Under Biden, secularists in the mold of Feldblum will enjoy influential positions across the federal government. We can also expect his judicial appointments to share his cramped view of the First Amendment. Obama famously stacked the courts with ACLU-style judges, which is a preview of the kind of judges Biden will select. One of those judges was Michael Urbanski, who once proposed that the Ten Commandments be reduced in public settings to the Six Commandments, omitting the ones that mention God.

I honestly think the end result of all this is that many “religious” organizations will disappear, and those that remain will be REAL ones.
How about a modern day Roger Williams, or modern day William Brewster? Or modern day Peter Muhlenberg or Samuel Adams?
Far too often America’s heroes are overlooked. No wonder we can’t defend America, we don’t even know our own history. But we sure know Europe’s!
“I honestly think the end result of all this is that many “religious” organizations will disappear, and those that remain will be REAL ones.”
I think they will keep the name, but further water down the message. The balance between love and obedience will shift further toward “love” and obedience will only be discussed for items currently acceptable to the culture.
Any Christian who is surprised by this has not read the Bible. We Christian will be hated just as our Lord Jesus was. However, there is good news. A revival is foretold to ensure every person on Earth hears the word of God and will be afforded on LAST opportunity to accept Jesus. Those who rebuff him will forever be tormented in the lake of fire. Don’t be one of them.
They can close churches and shut down religious organizations but they will never be able to affect my personal relationship with God through Jesus Christ.
The bad news is that many worldwide will come to faith during the Tribulation and only after the Rapture of the church. There will be many who come to faith, but it will probably cost them their lives.
That would be wonderful (this election has certainly separated some of the sheep from the goats in the churches) but I look around and there are so many unchurched. . .children not in Sunday School and the churches not taking a stand for righteousness. . . going along to get along on social issues,. Parents don't seem to care and most are not informed. When God gives Jesus the high sign to come for His Church, there will be only one religion for those left behind. The anti-Christ's with help from the false prophet. Any believers during that time will be martyred for the cause of Christ .
I believe the opposite. Real ones will go underground while apostate ones will be allowed to flourish.
The apostate ones will disappear because nobody will bother supporting them anymore. Why support secular charities when the government already taxes you to do the same things they do?
The naive believers who voted Dem “for the little guy” and “to be charitable to the poor among us” and all that nonsense will soon see how America will be the new China or Iran. Any dissent from the godless tyrants will be met with crackdowns. Hard ones.
Crying time is right down the road. It will probably start around June, Frank. By August the tears will be flowing freely. But what can you say. Some people can’t stand prosperity.
The “they” I’m referring to is the churches and religious organizations themselves. The government won’t have to shut them down. They will shut down on their own because they don’t serve any religious purpose anymore.
The way it is now, the government of the United States won’t lift a finger to defend God’s people.
The way it is now, the government of the United States
doesn’t recognize the unborn as God’s people.
