resident Trump on Friday urged South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem to launch a primary challenge against the second-ranking Senate Republican, John Thune.
“I hope to see the great Governor of South Dakota @KristiNoem, run against RINO @SenJohnThune, in the upcoming 2022 Primary. She would do a fantastic job in the U.S. Senate, but if not Kristi, others are already lining up. South Dakota wants strong leadership, NOW!” Trump tweeted.

I live in New York State, so I’m 0 for three when it comes to Governors and U.S. Senators. My Congressional District (NY-22) doesn’t even have the results of the November 3rd election yet. As of two days ago, Claudia Tenney (R) was up by 27 votes. Anything can happen since there’s a Democrat Judge deciding the election. I’d vote for Noem for President in a heartbeat, just like I voted for Sarah Palin, not that slug McCain who ran with her on the ticket. Whatever she decides, I hope she is successful in whatever the future holds for her.
I’d rather have her stay as governor, myself, and let her run for the White House...
DeSantis would be a great President, with Kristi Norm as VP.
If he retires, a few South Florida Republicans will be going for his seat. Andrew Gilliam announced...he is running on the Communist (fka Dems) line...
Rubio is not going to be primaried in Florida. He is popular here and the Dem has the eye on his seat. We need to stay united here...
We??? AFAIK I have not participated in an ongoing coup against POTUS these past 4 years. There’s no chance my family ever votes for the brazenly corrupt Marco Rubio again.
Lots of great Republicans in the state house/Senate.
She’s up for re-election as governor in 2022. I suppose the question is whether she tries for a second term or whether she goes for what has to be a long-shot attempt to knock of Thune in the primary. Easier to run for the presidency as governor than as a failed senatorial candidate.
Lol
My FIRST question, before launching a campaign would be, "What Voting Machine System is being used in South Dakota?"
Ahh.. but you forget Madam.. the Republicans BELIEVE, "if things don't change they'll stay the same."
God Bless their POINTED little heads!
