1) Just finished a discussion with a pro-Trump congressional source on procedures. Very high.
2) On Jan. 6, all that is needed is 1 senator (Hawley) and 1 Congressman (Brooks) to bring an objection to an elector slate (almost certainly AZ, since that will be the first contested.
3) The rules are made by the previous congress; the laws already in place bind the procedures.
4) Pence has no authority on his own to accept or reject any slate. According to source, he will turn to the Parliamentarian for a ruling on how to proceed.

Jim Robertson didn't “sign up in November of 1997... he founded Free Republic in September of 1996. He had some help from family and a few people still here and made it a public Website in February of 1997. And yes in the years previous to that he ran a bulletin boards and other projects. The fact that you have been unaware of the actual history of the site seems weird.
Looking through “Kevmo” posts from here and on other sites is a scary proposition. Your obvious issues with Dunning–Kruger, your defeatist tone and gullibility permeates so much of what you are leaving behind. You seem to relish your role here as a straw-man to stir up the rest of us. I do feel very very sorry for you.

Texas just waits till the end and turns in 400 electoral votes. It’s fine, we counted 400, they are real votes, we promise, don’t disenfranchise Texans, man!
Pence accepts them — “certifies” them — “counts” them — and no one has “standing” to oppose it.
Thomas Jefferson did his version of this when Georgia screwed up their votes, did he not, you would know.
What’s good for Wisc, Mich, Penn, Geog, Ariz, and their ilk is good for the gander.
Those are claims, not facts. They are subject to dispute. Without the actual evidence in your possession to examine they ultimately come down to believing what someone says. And a lot of the people that have made such claims have been not worth believing. A lot of downright absurd claims have been made.
A quick note on the DC GOP establishment and a very poorly chosen cabinet..... not saying the other side didn’t play a large role, but better players could hve been chosen and this game would have played out differently.
