1) Just finished a discussion with a pro-Trump congressional source on procedures. Very high.
2) On Jan. 6, all that is needed is 1 senator (Hawley) and 1 Congressman (Brooks) to bring an objection to an elector slate (almost certainly AZ, since that will be the first contested.
3) The rules are made by the previous congress; the laws already in place bind the procedures.
4) Pence has no authority on his own to accept or reject any slate. According to source, he will turn to the Parliamentarian for a ruling on how to proceed.

Pence is the actual Vice President and he has the POWER to count the votes as he sees fit. He makes the call.
Dems can go file with SCOTUS to review everything. Fine.
But Pence makes the call how to proceed.
We should proceed to hear evidence for a day or two in Congress in a fashion similar to a trial. Then let the Senators vote on it — in the open with every vote revealed to the world.
Oh, day or two before this Trump’s team needs to upload the entire Hunter Biden laptop (minus any child porn photos on it) and dump the full Russian report.

The reality is the founders of this country set up a process for a time such as this. So, what will happen on January 6th is a joint session of Congress. And all of the electoral votes have now been sent to Washington DC. They will be opened by Vice President Mike Pence and read aloud for the joint session of congress.
And if two House members object to the vote for Joe Biden, just two, then everybody takes a break. They split up then the Senate and the House divide. They go debate and then they ultimately have to vote to decide the outcome of this election. Now, here’s where it gets really interesting. Each senator gets one vote.
Now we know, we’ve been talking about what we’ve just been talking about how important it is to hold a majority in the senate but we do right now have the majority in the senate. And don’t forget the vice president also counts as a senate vote. And then as far as the House is concerned it is each delegation. So that doesn’t mean each House member gets a vote.
It’s each delegation, so each state ultimately gets a vote. So, what’s really interesting about this Dr. Gina, the Republicans are in control of 30 of those votes. The Democrats are in control of only 20.
So if it comes down to a vote and the Republicans in the House and the Senate decide gosh there was so much fraud in this election. We have evidence of it. We have affidavits, thousands of them. So the campaign has gotten, we have evidence that more people voted in the state of Pennsylvania than even were registered to vote. Thousands of dead people voting.
And for whatever reason they decide they will not certify this for Joe Biden and they vote for Donald Trump. Then guess what? Donald Trump remains president of the United States for the next four years.

There’s also enough evidence to arrest Joe and Hunter Biden. Arrest them and declare martial law until a real election (show up in person with actual proof of identity and give a fingerprint) can be held in the hacked states.
There were hundreds of people involved with the fraud. They’ll flip and cut deals and these folks don’t want to do real jail time. Just follow the chain up the ladder to the “big guy.”

The parliamentarian is NOT an elected official and has no power but to give advice. Our elected officials decide if such advice is warranted. In this case, it’d be Vice President Pence who would decide.
Given the massive fraud and criminality proven in 50,000 affidavits from eyewitnesses, experts, etc. he could allow Congress to vote (and the House votes by delegation — see above from Lara trump).
Why does the Constitution have these safeguards? For such a time as this.
What of the 1887 Electoral Count Act? It’s never been challenged as to its constitutionality and if it contradicts the clear language of the Constitution (it does) it should be ignored.
Any precedent for Pence to ignore advice from a non-elected parliamentarian?
YES.
And on rare occasions, a presiding officer will overrule the Parliamentarian. In 1975, Vice President Nelson Rockefeller ignored advice from Senate Parliamentarian Floyd Riddick about the proper procedure for handing a vote about changing the Senate’s filibuster rules.
