Louisiana Rep.-elect Luke Letlow, who died while battling COVID-19, suffered a heart attack following a procedure, a hospital official said.
The 41-year-old was receiving treatment in the intensive care unit at Ochsner LSU Health in Shreveport when he died Tuesday, the Monroe News-Star reported.
LSU Health Shreveport Chancellor G.E. Ghali confirmed Letlow underwent an operation related to the virus and later went into cardiac arrest.

I am more afraid of stage-4 cancer. It has 100% mortality rate compared to 1% by covid-19 for healthy individuals. Cancer strikes healthy people or sick people without discriminations.

Regardless of what technically killed him it’s still sad that he died long before his time. Condolences to his family.

unless he had some kind of pericarditis from fluid under the lining of his heart and they did a pericardial window which is cutting a small piece of the lining out for drainage but that is real surgery right there

Just an observation, but I have noticed that regardless of political party, there are a great many people that believe COVID is a legitimate pandemic soley because politicians, bureaucrats, and the media say so. They will believe whatever statistics Fauci, Bill Gates or the media spew without any independent verification. This leads me to believe the accept it as true not because the science supports it but rather they accept it because they WANT it to be true.

I made a comment earlier that I heard his death was related to a blood clot. That is probably what they were doing the operations for.
In any case the guy is dead because they did not put him on HCQ as soon as he was diagnosed.

I probably should have skipped this thread. You guys are scaring me. I got sick on Christmas Eve and tested positive for Covid the other day. I’m doing OK so far. Feel pretty crummy, but no breathing issues. Hope my old coot spouse doesn’t get it.
