Hawley is the first Senate Republican to do so
Sen. Josh Hawley, R-Mo., on Wednesday became the first Republican senator to publicly say he will object to the certification of the presidential election results when a joint session of Congress meets in one week to formally certify President-elect Joe Biden's 306-232 Electoral College victory over President Trump.
Roughly a dozen Trump supporters in the House – led by Rep. Mo Brooks of Alabama – have said they will challenge the slate of electors from six battleground states where Biden narrowly edged Trump in last month's election. But the challenge of at least one senator is needed for both houses of Congress to debate the objections.

If only more of our reps understood that we are in danger of losing our Republic. And once it is lost we will never, ever get it back.
If this plays through, the Congressional RINOs will decide the election.
This whole thing seems like its been moving in slow motion for quite a long time.
But I think it starts to speed up real soon.
I hope he and his family and dog have good security protection that he can trust... I believe I would hire a private security firm and not use the government guys.

Kudos to Sen Hawley. BUT...there should be 50 more standing with him; ideally the whole sordid lot of the lefturds, too.
That HAS to be the opening motion by Senators and Congresscritters opposing certification. its how you get the ball rolling on the issue of the nationwide problem with Dominion
It’s been a few hours since he announced this, and I thought SOMEONE else would sign on by now. But no! The RINOs are as weak as we all thought!
What comes to the President is state certified. He merely catalogs them. Any other side votes have no standing.

but it will be very costly
and it will be largely thankless
If this isn’t the hill to die on, I don’t know when it will be. Might as well attack while we still have the numbers.
Even if you think that, not all opinions should be stated. It tends to fan the flames of the crazy people. Senator knows what he’s doing.
Most of them are Mitch’s bitches, the only ones who I thought might join objecting were Paul and Cruz.
We will see if they are frauds.
Bannon’s whole show is pounding and declaring war on Walmart for calling Hawley a “sore loser.”
It only takes 3 RINOs (Romney, Collins, Murkowski?) to vote with the 48 Democrats to defeat any objections in the Senate.
