Armed law enforcement branch of the California Department of Consumer Affairs. Think they might get the homeless off of the streets living in front of store fronts harming business? Think they might prevent BLM or Antifa from vandalizing or looting businesses? Nope they raid legitimate businesses and harass and fine the operators. Welcome to California.

Such an overkill. They can get tough only when they go after one of the easiest targets.

The stylists and customers are all wearing their stupid masks. By shutting this place down, isn’t the state admitting that masks don’t work?

If I owned a Salon, my Policy would be to NEVER allow ANY Public Employee or Family Member in the Salon.

I keep wondering how much longer it will be until some folks start treating these quislings like the revenuers of prohibition were treated??

> Did anyone know the California Department of Consumer Affairs has its own armed police force? <

Look at it from their point of view. If they didn’t have their own police force, they’d have to go to the California Highway Patrol and say “Hey, we need to borrow a few officers to raid a naughty hair salon.”

They’d be laughed out of the CHP office. How humiliating that would be!

Department of Consumer Affairs goes in wearing body armor to shut down a hair salon? Tells you just how right on the money our strong defense of the 2nd Amendment should be.

Even the Department of Consumers Affairs is afraid of an armed citizenry - as well they should be.

If only a handful of these "non-essential" businesses (as determined solely by a politician or unelected bureaucrat) open in a community, the state stassi can cherry-pick enforcement and really look "tough".

However, if 10,000 of these "non-essential" businesses (as determined solely by a politician or unelected bureaucrat) throw open their doors, well, it becomes a real challenge for the state stassi and its governor's politburo to flex their self-anointed vast new powers.

Well I went grocery shopping the other day where I was stopped, in the store, by Officers from the Health Dept. They just wanted to see I was properly masked.

As I left the store armed Officers from the Dept. of Agriculture stopped me to see if my Oranges were properly bagged.

Heading toward my car I stopped to help an elderly lady load her groceries into her Mini-van but I was then stopped by agents from the Dept. of Veterans Affairs, it turns out the elderly woman was a veteran and they wanted to see if I was having an, affair, with her.

While driving home I was stopped by officers from the Dept. of Transportation. They searched my car apparently looking for possible election ballots for Biden.

I made it home pulling into my driveway when officers from the Dept. of Labor approached. They said I couldn’t unload my car till I employed the proper diverse persons to assist me.

I started the paperwork for hiring under the supervision of the Dept. of Education officers.

The S.W.A.T. team from the Dept. of Rural Development said they would notify me in 2 to 3 business days as to when I could unload my car.

Agents from the Dept. of Energy escorted me into my home and checked my light bulbs for the proper electric output.

All in all I had a proper and safe day.

I thought the democrats want to send social workers instead of armed police to situations, I guess that only applies to violent criminals.

Under their web page:

https://www.dca.ca.gov/

“DCA is a regulator – DCA investigates consumer complaints on issues under its jurisdiction. If violations are found, license holders can face discipline that includes probation, suspension or revocation of a license, fines and citations, letters of reprimand, or cease and desist orders.”

None of these require the use of police unless it is determined there may be a violent reaction. (In a hair salon?)

They cannot however go in to “raid” a privately owned facility with commissioned police officers. And security people cannot identify themselves as police.

This was staged. If you look at the “officer” on the left, her shoes could be considered a police style shoe. The officer on the right is wearing what could be considered a very comfortable walking shoe which does not match the shoe worn by the other representative. I guess the California manuals are getting a little more liberal.

There are two major rules about the uniform used by law enforcement and military concerning shoes: One, they be consistent with the manual, and two, they cannot be purchased at unofficial sources.
