Washington Post: Democrats ‘Gloomy’ About Populist GOP in 2024
Breitbart ^ | December 27 2020 | NEIL MUNRO

Democrats got Joe Biden into the White House but are alarmed at the political power of President Donald Trump’s populist economic platform, admits the pro-Democrat Washington Post.

“Party strategists now speak privately with a sense of gloom and publicly with a tone of concern as the election results become clearer,” said the December 27 print report by political writer Michael Scherer:

They worry about the potential emergence of a mostly male and increasingly interracial working-class coalition for Republicans that will cut into the demographic advantages Democrats had long counted on. They speculate that the tremendous Democratic gains in the suburbs during the Trump years might fade when he leaves office. And they fret that their inability to make inroads in more rural areas could forestall anything but the most narrow Senate majority in the future.

If I were a Democrat, I would not worry about GOP populism, it will be killed off by the Republican Establishment and the Never Trumpers....

I mean the Romneys, Bushes, and others will tell us all the voters brought into the GOP are not voters they want or need to remain relevant...

Not to worry dems you got away with massive vote fraud and the courts don’t care. You can now steal elections at will.

No matter what most politicians run on they become deep state leftists / globalist hacks anyway so what’s the real problem?? Plus with “mail in ballots” Dems really have nothing to worry about.

Democrats got Joe Biden into the White House >>>>>>>>>>>>

Not yet.

This is equivalent to a premature redaculation.

This already happened.

And they are worried that it WILL happen?

It already happened and they had to cheat to stem the tide.

In short, the Dems are fooked.

Really. How can they take seriously percentage gains in this group or that group when millions of illegal votes were counted? I think the real problem for regressives is how to cheat on down ballot races. It is inconceivable that Republicans swept toss up congressional races while Trump lost at the top of the ticket.

The Uniparty is destroying the republic.

We need to stop allowing it to pick our candidates for us.

Trump supporters need to find, run, and support MAGA candidates who will run in BOTH parties’ primaries.

Until then the uniparty wins uncontested.

Truth. Very few from either party keep themselves aloof from the machine. Anyway, it seems to me that of the very few “true believer” types, most are from the left. The rest spout slogans to get elected, but they can’t wait to get into office for one reason-to join the club, the gravy train club. I think they’re fully aware of the club while they’re running and it’s why they’re running, not for any deep-seated principles for which they will fight (not counting the pillow fights which occur in the media for public consumption ). Any real enmity up there is likely either personality clashes or stepping on each others’ toes ambition-wise, not ideological clashes due to principle. The left does attempt more change because “change” is their raison d’etre, hence the increasingly silly and poisonous changes they try to enact.

A complete take over because of the Trump Derangement Syndrome

“Trump is President.

We just start our own government.”

That’s cooking with gas.

Screw the corrupt GOP and their democrat partners and their fraudulent scam of a government.

We have a president already - they have a senile bucket of puke and two parties loaded with incompetent venal craven sleazeballs who can’t run a Chinese firedrill.

See which government is standing when the smoke clears.

See you on Lexington Green.

Yet more fake news from the Amazon Compost. Rat Party Headquarters couldn’t be happier these days...because earlier this month the nation’s highest court made it clear that there are no rules anymore when it comes to elections.

“The left does attempt more change because “change” is their raison d’etre, hence the increasingly silly and poisonous changes they try to enact.”

My view is achieving absolute power is the left’s raison d’etra. Change is necessary to achieve it. Infiltration into existing organizations and institutions is a tactic. Then they network across these bodies. Inserting themselves into pre-existing issues using these institutions and organizations (including companies, universities, etc) to steer the energy and solutions leftward and to their advantage.

Your implied references to the GOP spouting slogans to get elected as a means to “joining the club” is accurate. I’ve seen it up very close. Some truly begin their elected career with that energy and beliefs in tact. But leadership invites them upstairs to “have a talk” after a brief welcome and congratulations. Then it is clearly explained “how it works around here”, talks about how awful life is for “back benchers”, and some poor elected SOB not too long ago who was a one-term pony b/c he mistakenly thought “his beliefs” were more important than being a loyal member of “his team.”
