Bad decision.
Well, let’s see if Cboldt wants to opine on this as he has an understanding of the legal machinations of Congress more than most of the people that post here.
Yeah.
President Trump delayed it 45 days. That’s it.
Hate to think he folded. Maybe that was the best he could do for us and he took it.
DC is a powerful force (Deep State, Globalists, whatever), they beat him to a pulp before our eyes.
Hope we learned we have to fight back.
ITEM LINE VETO!!!!!
Finally!
A president with the balls to finally do it
God you’re naive or don’t understand what you read.
Nothing Has To be done by congress.
Besides a pocket veto, he had no other choice.
The guy has been treated terribly by almost everyone in congress...and media...and deep state.
I’m disgusting by all of them.
I’m disgusted that I, along with 10s of millions of others, let things get to this point.
Silly question. Yes!
Thank you. I do respect your knowledge. You seem to have an understanding about certain things to do with Congress.
If you do get it, spend it quick.
If they vote him down or donβt vote at all, the money is released for obligation in 45 days.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~
This tells me that the next 45 days are going to be made more interesting by the master of the Art Of The Deal.
Unless he beats the fraud and has a second term that’s just a bad joke.
~~~~~~~
He will beat the fraud and have a second term. No joke! :D
Reggie goes home to rest up before the game, and turns off the radio in mid-playback of his the taped interview. His phone starts ringing almost immediately, with a call from an angry front office head, Joe McGrath.
McGrath: Are you nuts?
Dunlop: Bull----!
McGrath: A bounty? We could all end up in the clinker for this.
Dunlop: oh, big deal, Joe...
McGrath: You can't put a bounty on a man's head.
Dunlop: I just did. (hangs up)
The MSM, Congress, NeverTrumpers, losers, et al = Joe McGrath
Trump = Reggie Dunlop
I think they had the votes to override him.. So he waited for awhile and signed it.. I would have pocket vetoed and waited till Jan when the house is closer to republican take over then get a better bill...
Trump should have just not signed the bill and forced them to cut the pork

Take note of the last 4 years. Take your time. Write down what you find. Then apply what you’ve noted to the Pesident’s likely responses. Grading will not be on the curve so you can relax.
Trump is fully aware that if they get away with Fraud 2020 that they will repeat it and commit to Fraud 2024 if he attempts to run again. Elections wonβt matter anymore and everything will be window dressing for entertainment value
There is no line item veto. The Supremes have spoken. Who does he think he is kidding. Many previous supporters are blowing the whistle on this crap. π‘π‘π‘π‘π‘π‘π‘
*POTUS Trump was not written into the 1974 act.
I can’t even imagine what SCOTUS will look like in 2024.
I originally thought Mark Meadows was behind this but now thinking it might be Graham.
Agree. I just don't understand why he didn't either sit on it (pocket veto), or just veto now and force the GOPe pukes into the uncomfortable position of overriding it.
What he did appears to be the WORST possible option, unless there is something else going on we don't know about and he is 100% certain he's going to prevail in the election.
If Congress fails to vote for his recessions in 45 days, they poof.
