WASHINGTON — As she asked the U.S. Supreme Court this month to overturn President Donald Trump’s election loss, the attorney Sidney Powell cited testimony from a secret witness presented as a former intelligence contractor with insights on a foreign conspiracy to subvert democracy.
Powell told courts that the witness is an expert who could show that overseas corporations helped shift votes to President-elect Joe Biden. The witness’s identity must be concealed from the public, Powell has said, to protect her “reputation, professional career and personal safety.”
The Washington Post identified the witness by determining that portions of her affidavit match, sometimes verbatim, a blog post that the pro-Trump podcaster Terpsichore Maras-Lindeman published in November 2019. In an interview, Maras-Lindeman confirmed that she wrote the affidavit and said she viewed it as her contribution to a fight against the theft of the election.
“This is everybody’s duty,” she said. “It’s just not fair.”
In a recent civil fraud case, attorneys for the state of North Dakota said that Maras-Lindeman falsely claimed to be a medical doctor and to have both a Ph.D. and an MBA. They said she used multiple aliases and social security numbers and created exaggerated online résumés as part of what they called “a persistent effort … to deceive others.”
Powell’s reliance on Maras-Lindeman’s testimony may raise further questions about her judgment and the strength of her arguments at a time when she is becoming an increasingly influential adviser to the president. Trump’s legal team distanced itself from Powell last month after she falsely claimed Republican state officials took bribes to rig the election.

First we had “Spyder” the Army Intelligence Analyst who was really an Army Mechanic, now this fraud. I don’t think Powell has the resources or time to properly vet these people, and some kooks are slipping through. Of course, once they find one crackpot, they use it to paint the entire case. I doubt these affidavits were important to the case, but if these folks lied in their affidavits, I hope they are prosecuted.

By the way, to Powell’s witness testimony, once upon a time, I was 305, and the organization is complex. When I went through, I thought the 305 was just an Army tradoc thing. However, it turned out to be more than a tradoc thing. Tradoc 305 was and is real, and does train half our intel. However, they are way beyond this, as are many of the facilities... let’s just say there are very substantial AIT/MOS-T training facilities, and then there are other facilities. All kinds of r-n-darpa. The facilities are always involved with jstars, sat, space, and nearby cyber regulars, with beyond believable low to high frequency capture/cipher. Big time troposcatter research and use as well.
Every year at Huachuca, you will run into SOCOM heavy. All branch colors. They make sure to train there all the time. But I was there once when training wasn’t why they were there. Some of the retired ufac’s aren’t fully retired either. Long story longer, the 305th is real but also cover for global comms. Many AIT soldiers will not grasp all going on down in the high desert. That place is crazy plugged in.
Even further, it is a near ground zero for foreign spy activity. Sierra Vista is therefore one of the busiest locations for DOD CI operations as well. Russians, Chinese, Iranians... Pretty much everyone.
Personally been involved with two high profile CI stings on the base itself, involving all US branch uniforms. The reason is what the Russians, Chinese, and everyone else either knows, or believesay be going in down there.
The wiki search propaganda infill on Powell’s witnesses are so shallow, and illiterate, foreign intel is laughing. We have some dangerously light weight people doing the indoctrination of the masses.
Regardless of who Powell’s guy is exactly, what he explained was only a portion of what he was allowed to explain. And that is intentional. So there were intentional gaps, but this was necessary. That guy was just a mouthpiece for much larger activity.
POTUS and many others have much greater knowledge than what is being let out.

On the wall of his office hung one of the actual, original recon photos of Soviet missiles in Cuba that JFK used to brief the country during the missile crisis. We became friends in part because I was one of the few visitors who immediately recognized what it was.

Well, they are not feeling fear from her. She ended up with a General discharge after about one year in service. She was quoted that her covert work could not be independently verified. “People like me don’t exist,” she said. “You just have to trust.”
She also was ordered to reimburse donors for money for a charity that was spent on personal items.
Her blog is interesting and she writes with some degree of knowledge and understanding. But she’s got multiple red flags in her background that Powell needed to catch and have an explanation ready for.
