Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) on Wednesday publicly supported President Trump’s call for lawmakers to increase direct payments to the American people in the multitrillion-dollar coronavirus relief and government spending bill passed by the House and Senate this week.
“I support President @realDonaldTrump‘s demand to increase direct payments for long-suffering Americans to $2,000 per person. And I also support his call to end Section 230 Big Tech legal liability protections,” Graham said on Wednesday following Trump’s Tuesday remarks on the nearly 6,000-page bill:

Something tells me this was a deal cut with Trump to leave the White House quietly. Look, we’ll make you look good. We’ll say $600, you say $2,000 and we will do it. Just judging from the various leftist tweets I’ve seen about it.

I’ve got a better idea. Rather than give several billion dollars to foreign governments and foreign problems, give every American citizen a million dollars first. After all it’s our tax dollars and it should go to us first. Imagine what would happen if they gave every American $1million. That’s 380 million. Much lessthan900 billion.

Well Pelosi should have a bill raising the payout to $2000 ready for the Senate by close of business tomorrow. Graham can take it and run with it.

My neighbors don’t appear to be suffering based on the money they are spending.
The only person suffering is me (because of low bank CD rates caused by Federal Reserve meddling).
Take all the foreign aid money and add it to the direct payout money. Is it true these politicians gave themselves 120k also or was that false.

I'm not defending it, just saying it wasn't part of the COVID deal.
