Massachusetts Gov. Charlie Baker (R) announced another wave of restrictions taking effect prior to New Year’s, including a ban on gatherings over ten, with the restriction extending to “private homes.”
Baker announced the latest set of restrictions Tuesday, which will go into effect on Saturday, December 26 — the day after Christmas

Open rebellion with stop this
Dear Gov: FU!
charlie baker will force vaccination on people
despite the risk, oncogenesis, sterilization potential,
cytokine explosion potential, ....
he is a madman installed by Bishop Romney to
rule all in Massachusetts under their
symbol of a rattlesnake.
It’s Massachusetts. They probably embrace the policy.
Waiting to see if this POS is one of the first to violate his own orders. These fascist politicians are very quick to limit our freedoms yet they are the ones who will be hosting parties, going out to dinner, traveling out of state, etc.
Charlie Parker (what Joe bin Cheatin calls my oberfuhrer) needs to make sure his blockleiters have a warrant in hand when they come to bust up what’s going on in my house.
Way past time for another tea party at Boston Harbor...
One of these days politicians in this country are going to push too far. Doubtful we’ll see it in our lifetimes as there has been next to zero real pushback during 10 months of lockdowns.
Just how does he plan to enforce the “private homes” part?
I can’t begin to imagine the Supreme Court (or most courts) finding this aligns with the US Constitution. I’m sure if you go judge shopping, you can find some deferential toad who will go along with pretty much anything and everything the government says it “needs”, but to place such limits on gatherings in private homes? Really strikes at the heart of human rights.
I understand the purpose, but it’s completely unenforceable from both a practical standpoint and a legal one. What they should be doing instead is running PSAs explaining why large gatherings in private residences is a poor idea, opening up public businesses that can better accommodate those groups safely, and then leave it to adults to make adult decisions about what they’re going to do. I think when given the right information and easy, safer options, most will opt to go the safer route. As a bonus, that helps the local businesses who have been hurting.
Just laugh at them and do as you please. Why cut it off at 10? Is that how many the Gov has coming to his house on Christmas Eve/Day?
Why not 9? How about 8? 42? Pick any arbitrary number.

Do as the few rational people who still live in California have been doing for nearly a year: Simply ignore everything and anything your governor and their politiburo of unelected bureaucrats (and, of course, their “experts”) think, say, advise and command. Just ignore all of it and enjoy the many positive and inspiring effects that come with your restored freedom.
We’re going to Florida in January. I can’t wait to get out of this miserable state to a place that’s run by someone sane.
I know families with over 10. In the same house.
How about banning “groups” over 1? Make EVERYBODY criminal. That is one of their REAL goals, like with Obama’s proliferation of regulation.
Understand what we are REALLY looking at
I wonder who is going to enforce that? Auxiliary cops? Because none of the police officers I know give a crap.
charlie ‘parker’ can KMA.
You are absolutely right about California. Don’t forget to take some cookies to your local PD. These are the guys who allow us our freedoms.
