President Trump granted clemency on Tuesday to 20 people, including three former Republican members of Congress and two people who were convicted of crimes as part of the investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election.
He also pardoned four military contractors convicted of killing 14 unarmed Iraqi civilians in Baghdad in 2007, and extended clemency to several people convicted of drug offenses.
The pre-Christmas pardons and commutations came as the president has been exploring how to reward friends and allies in the waning days before leaving office next month, with more acts of clemency expected to come.

He should pardon Hillary. They ain’t gonna prosecute her anyway. That would be absolutely hilarious. She would blow a gasket.
Trump should provide full details. "Full pardon granted for Hillary Rodham Clinton for crimes against the United States, including high treason, sedition, fraud, terrorism, theft, election interference, accomplice to murder"

Instead of pardoning Hillary he should pardon Bill for those crimes that they share culpability in.
It would make the unspoken point that she is not off the hook for her crimes.
At least not technically.

Yeah, Stockwell was the surname of my old CO back in the 80’s during my USMC days -seriously doubt he’s even still alive.

That Blackwater pardon is a total head scratcher.
Wrong decision in my opinion. The rest are OK.

Not really, a good will gesture before Christmas. Great timing!

If Biden finally succeeds with the Steal the first person he pardons is Hunter. Media response?

Trump says he’s sure he will serve his second term. The pardons now are because a lot of them were political hit jobs and no reason to take a chance on Dems being successful stealing the election or assassinate him before being sworn in.

Yeah he’s doing it to “reward friends and allies”, not because it is the right thing to do. The two are not necessarily contradictory.
