Who will be the 46th president - if we are able to restore the rule of law and hold a valid election?

My guess? Ted Cruz is the strongest candidate. I know some worry about “natural born citizen”, but that has been decided by precedent. Some worry about Trump’s campaign criticism of Cruz, but Cruz has been one of our best speakers and most reliable votes for the conservative, patriotic agenda.

Can anyone suggest a better option?

Trump will run again.

But the Democrats would have ran through amnesty and made their election theft tactics permanent, so all this looking forward to 2022 and 2024 is stupid and pointless.

if trump doesn’t run, Desantis/Noehm

alll I need to know about Cruz is that he chose an incompetent loser as VP running mate, just because she was a woman. Respected him early on, but no more.

***************

I don’t see either of those as possibilities under our current dysfunctional and tribal governmental morass. Our system is broken and has turned against us. Iits time to start looking at other alternatives.

During the campaign for the nomination Cruz blamed Trump for the fascists shutting down his (Trump’s) Chicago rally. Cruz? No thanks.

F Ted Cruz.

In the formative year leading up to the 2016 Election, Cruz did
more harm to our cause than Hillary Clinton and everyone else
on the Left.

He and his ‘Little Lord Fauntleroy’ crew of Levin and Beck,
made comments that put them squarely in the NeverTrump category
in 2016. Of course they deny it today, but lets review for
a moment.

Could Hillary Clinton or anyone at all on the Left make points
with Conservatives? No, and they didn’t need to. Cruz, Levin,
and Beck did what the Left never could have pulled off. They
reduced the people who would back Trump by enough of a margin
that Trump barely got elected the first time.

Hillary couldn’t pull that off, but guys inside our camp sure
could, and DID!

If you follow a “Conservative” guy and his rails on a candidate
long enough and viciously enough, there is no possibility
of a reset when the “Conservative” guy finally wakes up.

These guys didn’t just take 2016 off. They changed sides for
over eight months of the year, just savagely going after
Trump.

The NeverTrump group was a thing. It was appreciated and emblished
by the Republicans of the Deep State. The Democrats laughed and
wondered how they had been so lucky.

“Conservative” leaders had made it possible for them to make
the case to rank and file Republicans to abandon our candidate.

Even after the election and spilling over into the first two
years of Trump’s term in office, we still had folks who detested
Trump. McConnell and Ryan bought into the Russian Collusion
meme of shortening Trumps term in office.

None of these pecker-woods would admit to themselves that
our government had been so corrupted, they needed a guy like
Trump come along and clean house. So they fought him, or at
best remained silent when our movement needed boisterous
verbal support. Instead, we got kitties and mice, and mute
ones at that.

Even today we have Republicans who feel they are justified in
not supporting Trump, because they were given permission to
act that way by three main Conservative voices in 2016.

That 2016 display by Cruz, Levin, and Beck still haunts us
to this day.

Do people even know why they rail against Trump? By now they
have largely forgotten who enable their hatred for Trump in
2016. The sad part is they still do.

“Oh, I love what Trump is doing, but his tweets. He’s not fit
to be president.” Who were the first one’s to make that case in
slightly different ways?

Cruz has come out doing a decent job lately. Levin has made
some points. Beck is out there saying the right things. The
problem is, their treachery in 2016 still lingers.

In 2016 these few guys on our side, helped make things very
close in the November election. If Trump would have trounced
Clinton like he could have with full support, our guys on
Capital Hill couldn’t have gotten away with abandoning him
for years at a time.

The Russian Collusion ruse wouldn’t have been possible. Judges
would not have been so rabidly anti-Trump, even to this day.

The whole atmosphere of Conservatism and Republicanism was
pushed off track in 2016, and we are paying bitterly for that
even to this day. The loss this time is still made that much
more possible, by what transpired from 2016 through 2020.

Trump was not able to achieve all his goals. It appears it’s
almost impossible for him to retain the office he so deserves,
and it’s still largely a big problem that swelled in 2016 and
we still deal with today.

Trump has never gotten the full support of the Right, and that
is in no small part to the f-ups who refused to acknowledge
the values of Trumps platform and get behind and push.

The guy running for the nomination and lost, hated Trump with
a passion. He hated him more than he loved the nation.

Ted Cruz will NEVER get a vote from me.

As for Levin and Beck, I don’t forget people who put a knife
in the back of my nation and twist it.

The nation is still bleeding from those wounds.

If Trump can’t pull this out, it will very likely be leftover
political residue from the hatred for Trump that was uttered
by these men and the people who supported and followed them.

Here we are quite likely to be heading into the USSR of America,
and who wants to come in and rescue?

Why the guy who helped to get us here.

Sorry, too much damage...
