Gingrich won't accept Biden as president, says Democrats, Republicans 'live in alternative worlds'

In an op-ed titled "Why I will not accept Joe Biden as president," former House Speaker Newt Gingrich writes that his unwillingness to accept the election results rises from an outrage he says he previously hasn't felt.

Gingrich wrote that he'd been asked by a "smart friend of mine" why he couldn't accept Biden's win over President Trump.

"As I thought about it, I realized my anger and fear were not narrowly focused on votes," Gingrich wrote in an Op-Ed published Monday in the Washington Times. "My unwillingness to relax and accept that the election was over grew out of a level of outrage and alienation unlike anything I had experienced in more than 60 years involvement in public affairs."

Gingrich also said the two parties and liberals and conservatives "live in alternative worlds."

"You have more than 74 million voters who supported President Trump despite everything — and given the election mess, the number could easily be significantly higher. The truth is tens of millions of Americans are deeply alienated and angry," Gingrich wrote. "If Mr. Biden governs from the left — and he will almost certainly be forced to — that number will grow rapidly, and we will win a massive election in 2022."

“Even if they go through with an “inauguration ceremony” he would not be legitimate.”

Come January 6th and then on January 20th there is going to be a some Democrats that will have to deal with the reality that Trump will be their president for the next four years. It is a reality that the Democrats will not be able to escape. The Democrats will cry for years, and we can laugh.

If these election irregularities are not fixed, it wont matter if we vote or not. We’ll be Venezuela 2.0.

if trump doesn’t run, Desantis/Noehm

alll I need to know about Cruz is that he chose an incompetent loser as VP running mate, just because she was a woman. Respected him early on, but no more.

Biden won’t be the president.
State legislatures in swing states must meet and declare their elections fraudulent.

“looking forward to 2022 and 2024 is stupid and pointless.”

which is why I cast my last vote in 2020

I am reconsidering that point of view which I once held. I think that Biden will tell this group, “I’m staying.” He’s probably picking an Obama-type group rather than a Bernie-type group of cabinet prospects to insulate him from a leftist coup. After all that legislation passed by the House looks to the prez’s cabinet to make that choice.

if we are able to restore the rule of law and hold a valid election

***************

I don’t see either of those as possibilities under our current dysfunctional and tribal governmental morass. Our system is broken and has turned against us. Iits time to start looking at other alternatives.

in my dreams:
Trump has damning evidence of Biden’s criminality that is discussed confidentially, forcing Biden to withdraw in return for no prosecution.
Would be the cleanest and quickest way to Trump’s 2nd term.

Newt is Shallow State, but he’s still part of the state. He is deeply attached to the system.

These state legislatures need to step up because it is the right thing to do. There was massive fraud. If they hide under their desks they will forever be known as the “Yellow States”.

If this election is not corrected to count only legal votes, Trump supporters should not do business with Yellow States.

They should be economically embargoed.

I doubt that damning evidence is enough anymore. Then system is so corrupt it won’t matter.

Newt had better be careful. This could be him on the platform in a couple of years.

Unfortunately, I’m only half-kidding here.

You were going to have that no matter who won.
