GOP roots are protectionist and nationalist. So Larry when do we start returning?

We did return the party to its roots. Where were you, Hogan? Oh, yeah, fighting us every inch of the way.

Oh look. Fox pumping up a liberal Republican.
Who still watches Fox at this point? They are fast approaching irrelevance.

Donald Trump has made the Republican Party the biggest “tent” it has ever been.
Return to its roots? What roots are those?
This guy is an idiot.
To: srmanuel
Yup. Trump was Reaganesque and big tent. He was also America First.
The GOPe hated Reagan as much as they hate Trump. Even got a Bush family friend to try to assassinate the former.
I'm done with the Republican Party. Whatever the name of President Trump's new part is - MAGA, America First - I will be the first in line to change my affiliation to that.

"..."I’ve been a strong proponent of us returning to a more Reaganesque, bigger tent party where we can appeal to more people and reach out to large swaths of the electorate that have been turned off to the Donald Trump message..." I cannot express what I think should happen to this statist POS.

The Republican Party needs to be crushed to the point of extinction, then and only then could they possibly be rebuilt...
I will stay in the Republican Party, we have closed primaries in Florida and in some primary elections you can’t vote unless you are in the Republican Party, and in my area of Florida it’s pretty conservative and whoever wins the Republican Primary has no real opposition.

Trump got a larger % of the minority vote than Reagan got. The US of 2020-24 is nothing like the US of 1980-84. The people of our nation have less in common with one another than perhaps we ever have. Sure, we all want our good standard of living, material comforts, and an easy life, but beyond that we just don’t value the same things. How long can a country like that last?

Larry buddy you had better fire your speech writer because he/ she is making you look like the moron you are.
To: Army Air Corps
He cites Reagan, but is EXACTLY the type of politician who HATED Reagan back in the 1980s . . . and gave John Anderson over 6% of the vote in 1980. Not enough to re-elect Jimmy Carter, who only got 41% - but still . . .

It really won't matter much. Pubbies can again return to backbenching. Dems have learned more and more how to cheat in elections and get away with it. This is especially true if the Dems get control of the House, Senate and presidency.
Pubbies are so clueless -- or complicit.

Those 80 million people have no interest in the America Last positions of Republican globalists.
