President Donald Trump alleged Sunday that “we’re getting close and closer,” in reference to his ongoing challenges to election results in key battleground states.
“We’re getting closer and closer. And I hope you let everybody know we’re actually very close,” Trump said on WABC radio.
“The fake news will not tell you that. They don’t want to talk about it. They’re trying to suppress it. We don’t have freedom of the press at all. It’s suppressed news. It’s a terrible thing that’s happened in our country. It’s been going on for, it started a long time ago, but it’s gotten to a point, it’s a terrible thing. It’s not freedom of the press, and we got to bring that back, because the press is so suppressed. It’s so dishonest. I don’t even call it fake news anymore. I call it corrupt news,” he added.
Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden’s team didn’t respond to a request for comment on Trump’s remarks.
Biden has declared victory in the Nov. 3 election. “Altogether, Vice President-elect [Kamala] Harris and I earned 306 electoral votes—well exceeding the 270 electoral votes needed to secure victory,” he said on Dec. 14, after electors met in their respective states to cast votes.
But Trump, his campaign, and other Republicans are challenging results in states including Pennsylvania and Georgia, pointing to irregularities and possible fraud.
The Epoch Times hasn’t called the race at this time.
None of the legal challenges have so far led to changes in the results, but an ongoing case in Michigan produced a report on a forensic audit of Dominion Voting Systems machines and software, concluding the infamous vote flip in the county was a result of the voting system’s design.
Trump sounded upbeat while calling into a radio show hosted in part by his lawyer, Rudy Giuliani, wishing the hosts a merry Christmas and saying his team and other people “have uncovered voter fraud, the greatest voter fraud in history.”
“It’s the most corrupt election this country has ever had by far,” he said.
Giuliani over the weekend challenged states to let him and others examine voting machines. If they did so, he said, they would be able to prove fraud.
“The machines, number one, and every machine we’ve looked at, you know what the results there have been,” Trump said.
“The machines and also the signature verifications. Let us see the signatures in Fulton County in Georgia, and a couple of other places, let us see the signatures, you’ll find that hundreds of thousands of signatures either don’t exist or were fraudulently written.”
A Fulton County spokeswoman didn’t respond to a request for comment.
Georgia is launching a statewide effort to match signatures on Monday, but Trump said they’re not going to do it properly.
“They’re not starting them in the right location. They’re starting them in areas which are not very troubled, and will still find a lot, even though those areas, but they should let us do signature counts in the proper locations. And you will see hundreds of thousands of fraudulent signatures, or signatures that don’t even exist,” he said.
I am still praying. And, as he has encouraged some to have courage, I am hoping he has the courage needed to press on.

Politically I will follow Trump’s lead and I will never give up on this country, I will continue to work and pray and give and fight for our freedom.
We know where this is heading. I hope I'm wrong, but I suspect the only question is when. Another civil war would kill 50 million Americans, including millions of good people. Allowing socialism/communism would be far worse than that. There are no good options.

In addition, note that while Democrats and the liberal media usually dismiss claims of voter fraud or errors as regards this election, they typically do so by asserting “there is no evidence of widespread voter fraud,” yet the reality is that there need not be “widespread” voter fraud or errors since even significant fraud in 4 states can be enough to change an election. And yet liberal media complained about voter errors in the past when their candidate lost.

More than 4,000 votes vanished without a trace into a computer's overloaded memory in one North Carolina county, and about a hundred paper ballots were thrown out by mistake in another. In Texas, a county needed help from a laboratory in Canada to unlock the memory of a touch-screen machine and unearth five dozen votes.
In other places, machine undercounting or overcounting of votes was a problem. Several thousand votes were mistakenly double-counted in North Carolina, Ohio, Nebraska, and Washington state. Some votes in other areas were at first credited to the wrong candidates, with one Indiana county, by some quirk, misallocating several hundred votes for Democrats to Libertarians. In Florida, some machines temporarily indicated votes intended for challenger John F. Kerry were for President Bush, and vice versa.
In the month since the election, serious instances of voting machine problems or human errors in ballot counts have been documented in at least a dozen states, each involving from scores of ballots to as many as 12,000 votes, as in a North Carolina county...local officials discovered problems and corrected final counts. In some cases, the changes altered the outcomes of local races. But in North Carolina, the problems were so serious that the state may hold a rare second vote..
Since 2000, watchdog groups have intensified their monitoring and cataloging of complaints and errors. The nonpartisan Verified Voting Foundation and other groups built a database of more than 30,000 ''election incidents" reported across the country this year. Most were routine, but nearly 900 involved significant e-voting problems, including malfunctions that shut down machines, lengthening waits at the polls. There were 42 reports of total breakdowns of machines in New Orleans and 28 in Philadelphia and ''15 reports of catastrophic machine failure" in Mercer County, Pa.
