The Swinging City has ground to a halt.
Eery photos show London looking like a ghost town after the UK capital was forced into strict lockdown over the alarming spread of a new, highly contagious mutation of COVID-19.
Streets usually buoyant with tourists and Christmas shoppers were instead empty, while the typical fight to get a seat on a London Underground train was replaced by a struggle to spot other commuters.

I just ignore the whole thing as much as possible. Even when confronted with Karens on a united flight, I had brought a big bag of Costco peanuts and nibbled on them the entire 3 hour flight. You don’t have to wear a mask while eating. :)

New strain in London. 200% more contagious, 100% more lethal and not defeated by the new vaccines. Or something along those lines. The media can now magically tell you stats about the new strain while knowing nothing about the original one.
You knew it had to happen. I said from the beginning that they’re not going to let this go. We’re being trained and a surprising number of Americans are just fine with it. It’s like we’re living in Jonestown. Expect the government to get more violent as this goes on.
