Sticking with Trump to the Bitter (or Glorious) End
American Thinker.com ^ | December 20, 2020 | David Solway

“To defeat Trump,” writes Victor Davis Hanson, “many of our institutions were deformed.” Indeed, we have witnessed a flagrant burlesque of electoral procedure, including the specter of foreign interference by China, Iran and Russia via Dominion Voting Systems in gerrymandering electoral results, as Director of National Intelligence John Ratcliffe has confirmed. And there will be lasting consequences. The effect of installing a parodic figure like Joe Biden, straight out of the Commedia dell’Arte, as the next president of the United States will result in three destabilizing factors.

A nation presided over by a sorry puppet who has been put in place by a political, technological and wealthy elite employing counterfeit means will become progressively dysfunctional. Secondly, an administration that owes its ascendancy to obvious electoral chicanery will look and sound like a banana republic, a wavering shadow of its former self, and an international laughing stock to be taken advantage of by its adversaries and competitors.

Finally, the idea of secession will enter the public domain. Rush Limbaugh worries that America is “trending toward secession.” Texas GOP chairman Allen West suggested that law-abiding states should “bond together and form a union of states that will abide by the Constitution.” Though he asserted “I never say anything about secession,” the implication is certainly present. Texit is in the wind. As Rep. Kyle Biedermann (R-Fredericksburg) said, “I am committing to file legislation this session that will allow a referendum to give Texans a vote for the State of Texas to reassert its status as an independent nation.”

The only ‘good’ thing that may come out of this is the RINOs are virtually putting their head in a chopping block.
Remember JMcCain** was a ‘darling’ till he ran against them, and any RINO that the LIBs think may have ‘stood in the way’ ANYTIME in their career will be dealt with swiftly and probably first.

Even Rats despise traitors and they will eventually get around to ‘dispatching’ them.

Like ‘we’ say, anytime the LIBs accuse ‘us’ of something, you can bet they are guilty of doing it themselves.

**Of course JMcCain learned nothing as he went right back to toe sucking and being a useful idiot even though the LIBs stabbed him in the back.

As was pointed out in 2001 the ‘entire US’ was ready to wipe out or at least expel the Muslim community from our shores, yet, 7 short years later they elected a Muslim pResident.

Lessons learned????

And now Arizona is a blue state with two Democrat senators.

I disagree. Too many just read the first post and respond rather than scan the entire thread.

Are you making calls?

If you’re on FB do the same for your friends and patriotic friends of friend.

FWIW FB will screw with private messaging to stop you.

Well said. I’m 72, not much use in the field, decent shooter with a snub nosed .38, cook, home skilled nurse, Keyboard Warrior, if we still have electricity. Won’t need a EMP to take out utilities, just flip a switch. Young aren’t prepared for that, or growing own food, many can’t even cook. Never washed diapers or Fatigues in the bathtub when there wasn’t money for a laundromat.

Elections wherein an ineligible usurper wins have consequences. Long lasting and destructive to our republic.

The reality is that the swing state legislatures have plenary authority and thus are responsible for the outcome.

Will he nil he, the governor of a state has no authority to prevent the State Legislature from acting, any provision of the state law or constitution to the contrary notwithstanding.

If the state legislatures allow themselves to be bluffed into inaction, the thieves will IMHO win. But in any future presidential election, Republican legislatures should conduct advisory polls only separate from Election Day and election infrasturcture. They will have to figure out how to conduct a poll which they will evaluate and act upon as they choose.

But the point being that no pretense of “the people” electing the Electors should exist - the state legislatures will directly appoint the Electors - and make no bones about it. It being obvious that the cities of Philadelphia, Detroit, et al cannot be trusted to run a presidential election which the legislatures should feel any obligation to respect.

John Ratcliffe has confirmed. And there will be lasting consequences.

Indeed expect all elections to be treated the same way if the democrat party media and elite courts are not punished for their actions.
This isn’t a game it’s going to be away of life China and Russia will be the winners.

You are right of course.

But the expansive view also would make one realize that every sanctuary City/State will conduct elections the same way they have in Philly etc.

I suggest that tweaking the syste, may not work at all, simply because the culture of serving, protecting and defending the Constitution is broken. It began in earnest under Obama with his czars, and now Biden intends to finish us off.

It is ironic in the extreme that most Senators of the Republican party will not admit the truth of Liberal Fascism, simply because they want to preserve whatever feeding trough they now have.

Its Ironic and Constitutionally ludicrous, selling out for a farthing, the People.

Nice handle BTW. Its something I deeply believe in and practice every day.

Here is one of the defining articles of our times.

Barack Obama The Quintessential Liberal Fascist.

I predict that if the Republicans of the Senate do not actually support President Trumps contested electors in organizing a remedial Joint Session in a very public way, they will lose Georgia. They had better get started or Trump supporters will be staying home on Georgia run off day, because they know every Republican Senator, including Mitch, WILL NO LONGER have a trough to feed from. They chose mammon over the Constitution they will rightly be made to pay by the People.

Until the bitter end. YES!!
Trump has done the “impossible” over and over and over.
I feel like we are watching one of those movies... Will he get out of this one? And how?
Those lousy mudder-foggers impeached him, investigated him, set traps, wiretapped him, framed him, went after innocent Americans to get at him.
It is despicable what has been and that so many elected office holders are looking on with thumb up own rectal port acting all business as usual.
More MAGA please!

No, they are Traitors.

We look at Traitors being People who violate the Constitution to take away Individual Freedom and gain control and power.

They look at Traitors being People who disagree with them about anything.

I could care less if the phone rang, only from my boys, sister, hubby if he is out, rest can go away.

I’d make a good semi hermit. If you need something sewn, cooked, learn to do it yourself. I’m retired from doing what you failed to learn.

My boys cook, clean, wash clothes, I made them learn. They do most of own car repairs, all but electronic stuff. They are Conservatives to boot.

When you want to post the same message to multiple people you type (or copy/paste) their names into the “To:” box, separated by semicolons with no space between them. Efficient and you won’t look like a neurotic nutball (knock knock knock “Penny?” knock knock knock “Penny?” knock knock knock...)
