In Georgia this past week, Joe Biden rallied a handful of voters in support of Georgia’s Democratic candidates for the United States Senate. The venue was an Atlanta warehouse parking lot that could have passed for scenery from The Walking Dead (in fact, part of the post-apocalyptic “Hunger Games” trilogy was filmed at Pullman Yards). The man who claimed more votes than any other presidential candidate in history was speaking to a bare crowd amid a graffiti-festooned depot. Meanwhile a considerable pro-Trump gathering amassed outside, many bearing signs reading “Where’s Hunter?”
In the long months leading up to the election there was little doubt as to whom the people preferred. Donald Trump’s rallies drew tens of thousands, while Biden’s mustered up a few dozen, if that many.
And then came the election itself.

We respected Obama and look what it got us.
Democrats didn’t respect Reagan and George W. Bush and certainly not Trump. Republicans didn’t respect Obama and Clinton. Treating Biden with the contempt people think he deserves is going to be nothing new.

Just remember...the Karens and Kyles out there who have become emboldened by informing on people not following COVID masking rules will feel it is their ‘civic duty’ to report on anyone disrespecting the President.
No doubt, Harris will make us as close to the old Soviet Union as she can....including a KGB-like organization that does the same kind of thing it used to. Possibly a newly-repurposed FBI.
In a fair election, I’d not be happy about a Biden presidency, but I’d accept him. But this wasn’t a fair election, so don’t expect respect from me for Biden or a banana republic office of prez.
