In the new year, Jeopardy! fans will officially say goodbye to beloved host Alex Trebek.

Blurry screen ( you'll smile at the same time ) alert on the video.
My wife and I watch it via DVR every day. It is starting to look like he must have worked almost up to the day he died.
I have been recording it lately, knowing these are his last shows.
At times his voice has sounded a little weak, otherwise he’s the same ole Alex.
they really should have just ended the show with his death.
agreed
The channel Jeopardy is on in Atlanta is owned by the company in a dispute with Direct TV and has not been on the air in several weeks. We are hoping it is resolved soon.
same here in Indy
‘they really should have just ended the show with his death.’
people thought the show should have ended when Art Fleming died; and Trebek knew the giant shoes he had to fill, and did in fact struggle in the beginning...
‘people thought the show should have ended when Art Fleming died’
except Fleming left in 1975, when the original Jeopardy was cancelled; he declined to host the second go round of the show...
I should read before I post...
His last show that he did was 10 days before he died. So he indeed worked til his death
Bookmarked.
We're thinking of canceling DTV, so I guess we won't get to DVR it any longer.
*Sigh*, the end of an era indeed, Thanks for the memories, Alex!
I met him a couple of times over the years even when I was in intern on Price is Right. He still remembered me months ago at Paramount and he gave me a congratulatory coffee mug because he knows interns dont succeed more often than not in this business.
I still have the coffee mug.
My wife and I really liked him....knew he was probably liberal but he did not ever go political. Can’t stand Ken Jenning!!!
You can get an inexpensive indoor tv antenna and see if you can pick up the channel over the air.
You can jury rig a basic antenna by unfolding a metal paper clip and then refolding it into an L shape, stick one end of the L into the hole on the antenna jack on your TV, then scan for channels. You might be able to pick it up.
Johnny Olson taped episodes of The Price is Right as announcer until October 2 1985, suffered a stroke on October 6, and passed away on October 12. I’ve watched on YouTube the last episode he did and there were a few comments noting that Johnny sounded a tad weak on that episode.
Still over the air CH 13 WTHR and NineStar cable in Greenfield
