The country’s top infectious disease specialist responded to critics who slammed him for being Grinch-like about scrapping the holiday completely — saying he never recommended such extreme measures, according to FOX News.

Cancel Christmas? Even the term is offensive.
Only a little, sniveling creature can use the word, cancel, when referring to Christmas as though the holy day is something one can ignore as just another superfluous celebration or a party where license is given to get plastered.
Christmas will come whether in China, where worship can cost a Chinese Christian their livelihood and life, or here, in the home an elderly person who is alone. It will be celebrated, prayed for and honored.
Perhaps God will cancel for eternity those who believe they can simply ignore what is adored and celebrated for 2020 years.
