We now have a “new” distemper strain that our vaccines are not covering.
Among many other cruds they bring with them, such as Asian ticks.
The same people who want “immigrants” to replace the native born population want to wipe out the native dogs, too.

Meanwhile, American dogs in shelters are killed by the thousands, every day, and *these* dogs present health risks YOUR dog is neither immunologically prepared for or able to be vaccinated against.
Remember that deadly “dog flu” from last decade?
“Meat dogs” brought it here and it killed thousands of American dogs.
This article reminded me of a story. Back in 1979 when Jimmy Carter met Chinese leader Deng Xiaoping, Carter raised the issue of emigration, as was the fashionable issue with the Soviets and Easter Bloc countries at the time.
Deng supposedly said to him: OK, no problem. How many millions do you want?

My sister and her husband lived in Korea for 3 years (Army officer) and all breeds of dogs were eaten and caged in the wet markets.

In China alone, 10 million dogs and 4 million cats, are slaughtered for the dog meat trade each year.
Communists there will not let you do this. We have very similar bastards in this country who are hell bent in copying their system, that’s the reason they put China Biden in front of us.

Things have changed there in the last few years and they HAVE found a more lucrative market in tear-jerking liberals who go there and “rescue” dogs bred specifically for the SJW trade.
Research it for yourself.
I’m in several dog forums and their research and exposes on this is shocking.
Yet the SJW just keep on bringing them here, despite the fact that all the really do is create MORE demand in the Asian puppy mills.
“Rescue” has become a big business and more often than not, it’s little more than “dog flipping”.
Ask yourself how much the “rescue” paid for each dog and then subtract that for price of the “privilege” of owning such a rare and tear-jerking pet.
It’s obscene.

This is MY area and it came from rescue dogs.
One small victory for the dogs of China. The meat trade in that country is unbelievably cruel, reflecting the kind of vicious government it has.
Does that mean 27 new Chinese immigrants will be coming here?
So I put in a request at our local vet. She gets all the dumped pets that are found in our area. If they are decent animals she does the "snip-snip" and finds good homes for them. We took our set of barn cats to her. They showed up one day and decided to just move in. Which is probably how we will get a dog.
Not sure I could eat an animal that was a pet of mine.
