Nobody “broke rank”. The State apparatchiks named the fraudulent Communist Electors as expected, however, the GOP named the GOP electors. Nobody broke ranks. This was a procedural move to ensure, if there is a successful reversal later, then the Trump Electors are already voted and in place to be presented to Congress.
How are those votes “transmitted” to the Congress? Do two reps show up from the state, with two envelopes?

absent a future ruling from somewhere of incontrovertible fraud, and a declaration of an invalid election,only the Dem electors will be counted, as the Pub slate is ‘conditional’ and not official...

OK, and since the GA State legislature is MAJORITY Republican, what do they do? Do they give all 16 to Trump? Or do they split it in half?
They give them to Democrats because they’re cowards and if they don’t Atlanta will burn.
