Someone who can explain without being smart alecky or condenscending...the “alternative electors” and how this works?
I believe Pence and the US Senate get to decide which envelope of electors to open. And Democrats will run to SCOTUS if it’s the “wrong” one. It gets interesting.
I believe SCOTUS will decide that the State’s Constitution must be upheld and the Legislature gets to choose electors. (Good for Republicans).
Sure. Some people didn’t like the results as declared, got together, and designated their own “electors”, who then “voted” to give their votes to Trump.
You can play along, in whatever state you live in. Get your family together, head to your living room, declare the meeting started. Write down your names, call yourselves electors, vote for Trump, and put your results in the mail and send it to the House and Senate.
