GOP presidential electors in Pennsylvania and Georgia cast ballots at their respective state capitols today for President Trump. The move is deigned to preserve the President's ability to continue his fight to overturn the election results in those states, which he claims was fraudulent.

Competing slates. The electors from the fraudulent election voted and so did the GOP electors authorized by the state legislatures. SO each of those states now has two slates of electors and they duke it out in the joint session. The state legislatures’ slates should win as the Constitution, if still relevant, states that the legislatures determine the manner in which the electors are selected.
You’re wrong and wrong. The GA election is UNLAWFUL for failing to follow state election laws. So the slate chosen by the cheaters in GA is as illegitimate as the elector slate presented by state legislators from the GOP for Trump electors. Both go to the Electoral college for presentation.
But the GA Runoff Election is already UNLAWFUL as well, because they sent out ballots to voters who did not vote in the special election for Senators, which violates state law stating only voters who voted in the special election that is being continued as a runoff may vote in the runoff.
Totally agree...but what is reliable now? Especially since the media is against us and the major platforms will not let the truth get out.
For me, that’s one of the hardest things. Knowing where to get the info (btw, I ignore anything with “Boom”).

Harrisburg, PA – At the request of the Trump campaign, the Republican presidential electors met today in Harrisburg to cast a conditional vote for Donald Trump and Mike Pence for President and Vice President respectively.
“We took this procedural vote to preserve any legal claims that may be presented going forward” said Bernie Comfort, Pennsylvania Chair of the Trump campaign. “This was in no way an effort to usurp or contest the will of the Pennsylvania voters.”
Today’s move by Republican party electors is fashioned after the 1960 Presidential election, in which President Nixon was declared the winner in Hawaii. While Democrat legal challenges were pending, Democratic presidential electors met to cast a conditional vote for John F. Kennedy to preserve their intent in the event of future favorable legal outcomes.
The conditional resolution states that electors certify their vote for the President and Vice President “on the understanding that if, as a result of a final non-appealable Court Order or other proceeding prescribed by law, [they] are ultimately recognized as being the duly elected and qualified Electors for President and Vice President of the United States of America from the State of Pennsylvania…”
“Near as I can tell it’s another in a long list of meaningless gestures. These electors were not selected by the voters, they were not appointed by the legislature, they are no more legitimate electors than you or I are.”

Approving competing slates of electors is a good idea, even though it doesn’t change anything now. As things currently stand, it is clear that neither the courts nor Congress are going to stand in the way of Biden being inaugurated. If, however, fraud were proved on such an enormous and obvious scale between now and Jan. 6 (or perhaps Jan. 20) that even the Supreme Court or Congress could no longer ignore it, having Trump electors already appointed in the key states could prevent inaction due to a technicality — i.e., you wouldn’t want the Court or Congress to say, “yes, Trump actually won PA (or GA etc.), but since no Republican electors were selected on Dec. 14, the best we can do is invalidate the Biden electors and leave the state with no electors.”
Sounds like they’re doing this in a lot of states, but to what end?
The electors are selected in the manner prescribed by the state legislatures - with no say by the Governor or SoS or any other official or judge (which is what rendered the elections in several states unconstitutional). The collective of the all the electors from all the states is the Electoral College. Today is the official day for the electors to vote in their individual states. The votes are counted in a joint session of Congress next month.
I understand your point, and we need to be prepared for this and get our best legal scholars out there.
