Four Regions Across China Are Under ‘Wartime’ Mode Following COVID-19 Outbreaks
Epoch Times ^ | 12/13/2020 | Nicole Hao

New outbreaks were reported throughout China as locals complained about strict lockdown policies.

China’s National Health Commission—the country’s top health agency—announced that new COVID-19 patients were diagnosed in the northeastern-most province of Heilongjiang and in southwestern Sichuan province on Dec. 13.

Meanwhile, the Xinjiang region announced new asymptomatic carriers (Chinese authorities count them in a separate category from people who test positive and exhibit symptoms), and the southern island province of Hainan quarantined at least 43 people to prevent possible spreading of COVID-19.

HEILONGJIANG

The province announced new infections on Sunday, including a patient living in Tahe city.

Tahe became the latest city to enter wartime mode, after Suifenhe and Dongning were placed under lockdown on Dec. 10.

It’s unclear what is the true scale of the outbreak; authorities have previously underreported data and covered up information.

On Saturday, the Suifenhe and Dongning city governments launched more strict quarantine policies.

Suifenhe ruled that all residents must stay at home, with only one member of each household allowed to go out shopping, once every three days. The family member must return home within two hours.

In addition, weddings were banned, while funerals were limited to no more than five participants.

All hospitals, clinics, and pharmacies were instructed by authorities to record and report all who purchased medicines to treat fever, cough, and virus infection—common symptoms of COVID-19.

The Dongning government allowed only one member of each household to go outside and shop once every two days, and up to eight people to participate in funerals. Weddings were also banned.

SICHUAN

Sichuan health authorities announced dozens of new COVID-19 infections since entering wartime mode on Dec. 8, with the entire province under lockdown.

On Dec. 12, a netizen in Chengdu, the capital, shared a video on social media, in which a woman could be seen trying to leave a sealed-off residential compound by crossing the fence that was temporarily set up. She told the people standing nearby that she was not infected with COVID-19, so she should be allowed to leave her compound.

But security officers on the other side of the fence subdued her immediately after she climbed the fence. Later, she is taken away by an ambulance.

OTHER REGIONS

China’s Xinjiang region in the northwest announced new COVID-19 cases on Sunday.

The regional government announced that a man who lives in Gaochang district of Turpan city was diagnosed as a COVID-19 asymptomatic carrier on Saturday. Then, his wife, mother, and one co-worker tested positive.

On Hainan island, authorities announced on Sunday that all 29 members of a tourist group and 14 other people were quarantined at hotels in Sanya city, saying they were close contacts of asymptomatic carriers.

Five townships in northern China’s Inner Mongolia were still listed as “medium-risk” areas for COVID-19 spread as of Sunday.

Areas of Inner Mongolia have been under lockdown since infections were discovered in Manzhouli city on Nov. 21.

Heilongjiang, Sichuan, and Xinjiang have not yet announced where the latest outbreaks originated from.

The thing this article talks about? What if it’s not COVID-19? What if we’re seeing initial reports of a novel virus that will be designated COVID-20?

We all heard stories about Wuhan going into lockdown. But ya gotta ask yourself, how could it have spread like wildfire outside of China but stay contained in Wuhan?

China is a totalitarian state. Once they knew what they were dealing with, they were able to do everything possible to stop the virus, including welding people shut inside their own apartment buildings. Maybe North Korea is the only other country in the world to do that.

How long can China exist in this state of total lockdown?

Assume their vaccine is viable, then yes, they can make it.

Spread, baby, spread. Red China won’t miss a few million innocent people. Just wish the virus could be directed to CCP leaders and the military. The PLA would be known as the “Peoples Laidout Army”.

A typical process of collapse and rise of Chinese dynasty

Deteriorating economy, rampant corruption

1) pandemic, crop failure, flood, and ensuing starvation
(crushing tax burden to offset shrinking tax base)

2) Omen: unusual natural phenomenon. A few examples:
.....pitch dark in mid-day with highly destructive hailstorm
.....powerful lightening strikes on an imperial palace
.....water turns bloody

3) Many past prophecies filled with oblique references to signs of impending doom

4) People try to figure out if 1) or 2) matches with signs mentioned in 3). Rumors start to fly that there is indeed a match.

5) Somebody steps out and declare himself divine. Angry and frustrated peasants congregate around him. They form a rebel army and march to destroy a failing dynasty.

6) Emperor solicits help from local power lord. Putting them down drains imperial treasury.

7) Emperor loses much of his power, becoming a figurehead and local lords assert their power.

8) Local lords start to fight among themselves to secure the imperial throne.

9) Ensuing civil wars kill more people.

10) People yearn for another absolute ruler to restore order and stability.

11) A new dynasty emerges.

Since approximately 2500 years ago, Chinese political game is a winner-take all.

Chaos and civil wars rage until an ultimate victor emerges. That would end chaos and mayhem.

Naturally, the Chinese believe an absolute rule is a necessary evil to keep order and stability.

This is most likely a political move. Come March the weather clears across the strait to Taiwan. An invasion becomes possible for about a month. With Biden as president this is the best possible time for China to attack Taiwan. In order to go to war the CCP has to set the public’s mindset to wartime conditions.

I suspect that if Trump is president, all they will do is attack and take one or two of the island fortresses owned by Taiwan. The problem for the CCP is, like Nazi Germany, they must have a war as they are running out of resources and money. The way they have managed their economy by manipulating their currency to make China seem attractive is not a sustainable policy. War, the taking of other people’s stuff (Uyghurs , Tibetans, Hong Kong) is the only course they have left.

one of the key signs of imminent regime collapse was some natural disaster. Something like a pandemic has traditionally fit the bill. Adventurers, within and without the regime have traditionally seized on these fig leaves as an opportunity to seize the throne for themselves.

Sort of like what the HarrisBiden & Co has done with this election, minus the bloodshed so far.

“Propaganda out of China to keep the scare going in the US.”

Obviously people are dying of the Wuhan Flu. However, the Chinese ramped this thing up 1,000 fold. And I believed it. Watching videos of folks falling dead in the streets, massive fogging machines dousing entire city blocks, etc. Videos created to inspire fear and “draconian measures”.

On one hand, I was prepped by the first week of February and was able to help out relatives and neighbors. And the fear was as bad/worse than the virus. (”I can’t find TP or soap anywhere!” Oh - you can have some of ours.)

On the other hand, our politicians have used it to take control. Not only the governors with shutting down things, but the ultimate rigging of our national election. Soon time will tell if they are successful in destroying our nation.

IIRC, about half of folks from Wuhan were able to escape the lockdown. Also - the virus was around for quite awhile until they realized it.

Those were early articles though. And as I mentioned in my previous post, how much of this is true or false?

I think the early reports of dropping dead in the street were false. I think the later reports showing the relatively low numbers of dead are false as well.

It would not surprise me if they used the same algorithm as they used in the voting machines we used.

I calculated it awhile ago, but every day the increase in their dead was something like 1.5 to 1.7% from the previous day. No large spikes, no drops, just a nice smooth increase every day. Obviously fake data.

Just like the fake election data showing that after a 4 hour pause in vote counting, Biden was up by .5 to .7 % in all of the battleground states.

The publication of accurate numbers assumes that accurate data can be collected.

I doubt that the China public health institutions have the ability to collect detain a meaningful manner

BTW....... these guys do good job of China reporting

With their obsession with monitoring every citizens using cameras , supercomputers and big data? I think they are able to do that just as good if not better than most western countries.
