With time running out for President Trump, attorney Sidney Powell is raising the option for the commander in chief to invoke his 2018 executive order concerning foreign interference in U.S. elections.
The order, signed by Trump on Sept. 12, 2018, states "not later than 45 days after the conclusion of a United States election, the Director of National Intelligence, in consultation with the heads of any other appropriate executive departments and agencies (agencies), shall conduct an assessment of any information indicating that a foreign government, or any person acting as an agent of or on behalf of a foreign government, has acted with the intent or purpose of interfering in that election."
Powell told the Epoch Times the evidence of foreign interference is "more than sufficient to trigger" the order, providing the president "all kinds of power ... to do everything from seize assets to freeze things, demand the impoundment of the [voting] machines."
"Under the emergency powers, he could even appoint a special prosecutor to look into this, which is exactly what needs to happen," Powell continued.
"Every machine, every voting machine in the country should be impounded right now. There's frankly more than enough criminal probable cause to justify that, for anybody who's willing to address the law and the facts purely on the basis of truth and not politics, or corporate greed, or global wealth."

Not to listen to unhelpful antagonists. You don’t want to tell me the path that an EO regarding foreign interference in elections gets us to turning around the certified electors? What good are you?
BTW, I never said anything about Powell, I just said it seems she is out of ideas, got nothing gaining any traction. Would love to be wrong, but we’re past overtime now.
I believe he went through the Federalist foundation for ALL of these picks!!!
I am not going to start anything, but if they start killing people they will be greenlighting themselves.
I think that was for his SCOTUS list.
I’m just frustrated as are 70+ million others. The headline bothered me.
EO 13848 demands a report to POTUS and a longer list of other interested parties regarding National Security.
That’s it...
The question really is, what do you do with it once you got it?
What did Roosevelt do after Pearl Harbor?
What did Bush do after WTC/911?
I’d be lying if I said I’m a history scholar, but what is for sure is that in the history of the USA, there were some men that stood up for this country despite the odds.
Trump faces a deeply entrenched and financed Deep State. It appears that may very well be allied with the country and military of China, Venezuela, Cuba, Iran. Inside our nation, the enemy is apparently allied with not just the DNC, but a certain amount of the GOP and most of the media, Wall Street, and Social Media giants.
We have a choice, do we surrender and hope that the future is just a mild and slow painful death or do we fight now and kill the enemy of free men? In doing the latter, you must accept the consequences of failure and that you may die. But a heroes death compared to the slow tortured death of the appeaser? Give me Liberty.... For this Hill We Die For!
You have some history as a Patriot...
Go read the entire EO 13848. It’s a 10 minute job.
“I believe he went through the Federalist foundation for ALL of these picks!!!”
If true, then we are on to something.
“HOLLIS-BRUSKY: Yeah. And I think one strong indicator of Federal Society influence here - if you think about Trump’s other Cabinet nominees, his secretary nominees, he tends to gravitate towards nepotism, people who have been loyal, faithful. They’re his friends. When you look at his list of judges and the people that he’s put on the bench, it’s been entirely controlled by the Federal Society. And that is an indicator of the pull that the Federal Society has within that space, that Trump wouldn’t dare nominate someone who was just a family friend.”
Folks, what we are being told on TV and Twitter is not the same as what is being said in the court.
In court, where witness affidavits are under penalty or perjury and lawyers get disciplined for making false arguments, Giuliani has repeatedly said “we are not alleging fraud.”
The biggest disputed state is PA. The PA lawsuits were never about fraud. Giuliani and Powell tried to overturn the PA results on the following grounds:
1- The PA law allowing universal mail-in ballots was improperly enacted,
2- The PA precincts allowing cure of defective ballots was improper, and
3- The PA Sup Ct extending the deadline for mail-in ballots was improper
Basically, legal technicalities. No fraud. Just legal technicalities.
There WERE cases where actual evidence was presented. The best was in WI. Trial court rejected it, but it is on appeal in WI Sup Ct.
The TX SCOTUS case was frivolous on its face, which is why all 9 justices declined. The dissent by Alioto and Thomas said only that where one state asks SCOTUS for permission to sue another state, the SCOTUS has NO DISCRETION to deny filing a lawsuit. HOWEVER, even Thomas and Alioto said they would “not have granted any other relief.”
PDJT and his supporters are being deceived and manipulated by the GOP establishment. We are being sold a bill of goods.
Next year, the same GOP that back-stabbed PDJT will come back and ask us for support, contributions, and votes.
Yep, Powell has evidence but the courts are full of Deep state. Trump needs to stay in office if it means total war.
An executive order is useless. She appears to have lost her mind.
Everyone knows and agrees on who the illegal votes went for....
Both democrats and Republicans assume that any investigations that finds fraud will find it favored democrats, BIDEN.
We don’t need courts to confirm the obvious. We need the Justice Dept to confront the criminals and Congress to reject fraudulently selected electors....
And equally important, we need the evidence to be public and overwhelmingly undisputable democrats are too ashamed to utter the words “stollen election” unless they are so drugged up or drunk that they can’t stop themselves.
Sorry about that Edie, I overlooked that one. My bad! :-)
Did George Washington follow the whims of the newspapers or general populace? No.
Trump has the majority of the voting public on his side. He knows it. He also knows his place in history and that he is in a place and time to stop this nation from falling to tyranny. He will not fail us without at least dying first! This hill we die for!
Okay, They are conservative but not necessarily totally loyal to Trump. Being a conservative and a loyal supporter of Trump isn’t always the same thing.
Ok, I read it about 3 weeks ago and I just read it again. I failed to see the part where election results can be voided as a result of foreign interference. That would be great if it’s there, but my non-lawyer mind didn’t see that. So I’ll ask again, specifically what part of the EO provides the path to fixing this major effed up situation we are now in?
