Supreme Court shoots down Texas lawsuit, but it isn’t over yet
This decision has dramatic implications for the presidential election, but unless President Trump concedes, there are still plenty of options available.
The Supreme Court moved today to dismiss a case brought forth by the state of Texas to delay selection of electors in Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, Michigan, and Georgia. This is a blow to the Trump campaign’s hopes of correcting the election results that were fabricated by widespread voter fraud.
According to the Supreme Court, they denied the request over lack of standing. As The Right Scoop noted:
The Supreme Court has DENIED Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton’s lawsuit, which was signed onto by multiple states and supported by over 100 member of congress. There was a dissent from Alito and Thomas, but it seems to have been based on matters of jurisdiction and not the merits of the lawsuit.Notably, the three justices appointed by Trump did NOT dissent from rejecting the case.
While this is a huge “downer” for many Trump supporters, the fight is far from over. As JD noted in the last episode of NOQ Report, the best scenario is that this case bought other lawsuits more time to get in front of the Supreme Court without having to worry about the December 14 deadline for selecting electors. Now, they have to rush, which they’ve been doing already, but that doesn’t mean the fat lady has sung.
The case before the Wisconsin Supreme Court tomorrow has real legs. Lin Wood has his case docketed. Sidney Powell and the Trump campaign all have cases working their way up the ladder. Until January 20th comes or President Trump concedes, the battle continues.
The Texas case wasn't our best shot, contrary to what so many have said. As I noted in the show last night, it had fatal flaws, and I didn't even mention standing.
But the truth is coming out. Better cases are coming up. I'm still at 90% sure President Trump wins, Lord willing.— JD Rucker (@JDRucker) December 12, 2020
This is all true. Texas did not demonstrate standing, particularly because their premise was based on how other states operated their elections. If they could have demonstrated direct voter fraud to change the results of the election itself, they have had a better chance. Thankfully, there are plenty of other lawsuits coming up that do demonstrate what is needed in order to correct the results of the election.
Time is the challenge. Can these other lawsuits get in front of the right people in time? We will see.
This is a blow to the confidence of many Trump supporters, but the fight is far from complete. There are still multiple angles and several weeks before January 20. Don’t let naysayer convince you President Trump isn’t going to win.
Yes I think per the Constitution states can choose electors any way they want. Fraudulent is OK as long as the state is OK with that. They can even sell those elector positions to the highest bidder, perhaps. No election per se. And it’s not the business of any other state how those electors are chosen. So issues of fraud are issues confined to that state.
Actually it would be great if more of life worked that way—limited to each state. I’m thinking of things like wine shipping though—interstate commerce? In a way a national election is like interstate commerce.
NADA
Fu$$ your “yeah it’s over” shit! Asswipe pu$$y!!!
And did the Supreme Court just say it is a free for all now. Doesn’t matter if it affects federal
My flag has been upside down for over a week. I might start flying the Stars and Bars.
Yeah. I can feel it in my bones: I’m checked out. Have a good time with it...I gotta get on with some prepping. We’ve hit “every man for himself” time.
I said it several times that we pick some of the lamest people we can find to represent us. In fact I think President Trump would have done better by having a day labor agency fill his cabinet positions because everyone he picked turned out to be a traitor or totally inept, or both.
I do believe it will now be hard to get even 20 percent republican turnout since we all now know our votes don’t count. I had hopes that in 2 years we could easily take back the house, but I no longer feel that way. I don’t think dems will have to ever cheat again with conservatives like me no longer feel like my vote matters.
So basically SCOTUS is saying Texas lacks standing, but didn’t rule on the merits of the case. Sounds like there’s an open door for someone who does have standing to refile, which would mean someone or some group from within the offending states.
Im aware that this wasnt trumps legal team. Im referring to past cases.
“
President Trump WON the election, God IS exposing the criminality, and President Trump WILL be re-inagurated next year and SERVE another 4 years in the White House.”
I agree with your first sentence but the rest, it’s a bit early still to be so drunk to hallucinate.
However the voters in that state have been defrauded. Their rights have been violated.
Totally Agree!!
I think there are stones enough out the but there has to somekind of organization
Tick, tock,,,,Oh, the hell with it.
I have heard that the number will be as high as 15. By 2024, there will also be 10 new Senators and a bunch of new House members from the new states of Black Lives Matter (formerly Washington, DC), Puerto Rico, Guam, Samoa and the Northern Marianas.
Of course they are using the same fraudulent Dominion software and ballot boxes and the unethical likes of Ruby Freeman and her fat ugly daughter.
I am praying for this.
The society of the 17th letter is a Psyops and disinformation campaign to convince us to stand down and do nothing while someone else is taking care of the problem. I think I remember several of its propagandist being tracked to the either the FBI or CIA several month ago. Its attractive to some because of its cloak and dagger and it provides a “white night to the rescue” with little investment in action from its believers.
We have to face reality and rescue ourselves.
Sidney is doing 2 emergency filings to the Supreme Court- Georgia and Michigan. Arizona and Wisconsin shortly. Stating they have standing . From her twitter account.
