Supreme Court shoots down Texas lawsuit, but it isn’t over yet
This decision has dramatic implications for the presidential election, but unless President Trump concedes, there are still plenty of options available.
The Supreme Court moved today to dismiss a case brought forth by the state of Texas to delay selection of electors in Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, Michigan, and Georgia. This is a blow to the Trump campaign’s hopes of correcting the election results that were fabricated by widespread voter fraud.
According to the Supreme Court, they denied the request over lack of standing. As The Right Scoop noted:
The Supreme Court has DENIED Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton’s lawsuit, which was signed onto by multiple states and supported by over 100 member of congress. There was a dissent from Alito and Thomas, but it seems to have been based on matters of jurisdiction and not the merits of the lawsuit.Notably, the three justices appointed by Trump did NOT dissent from rejecting the case.
While this is a huge “downer” for many Trump supporters, the fight is far from over. As JD noted in the last episode of NOQ Report, the best scenario is that this case bought other lawsuits more time to get in front of the Supreme Court without having to worry about the December 14 deadline for selecting electors. Now, they have to rush, which they’ve been doing already, but that doesn’t mean the fat lady has sung.
The case before the Wisconsin Supreme Court tomorrow has real legs. Lin Wood has his case docketed. Sidney Powell and the Trump campaign all have cases working their way up the ladder. Until January 20th comes or President Trump concedes, the battle continues.
The Texas case wasn't our best shot, contrary to what so many have said. As I noted in the show last night, it had fatal flaws, and I didn't even mention standing.
But the truth is coming out. Better cases are coming up. I'm still at 90% sure President Trump wins, Lord willing.— JD Rucker (@JDRucker) December 12, 2020
This is all true. Texas did not demonstrate standing, particularly because their premise was based on how other states operated their elections. If they could have demonstrated direct voter fraud to change the results of the election itself, they have had a better chance. Thankfully, there are plenty of other lawsuits coming up that do demonstrate what is needed in order to correct the results of the election.
Time is the challenge. Can these other lawsuits get in front of the right people in time? We will see.
This is a blow to the confidence of many Trump supporters, but the fight is far from complete. There are still multiple angles and several weeks before January 20. Don’t let naysayer convince you President Trump isn’t going to win.
Yup.
You can go back 2007 when obamatard won and the same sh*t and crying on FR happened. especially after obamacare and guess what??
I NEVER paid obamacare in 8 years Klownie the Kenyan was president.
Sheeesh
It aint over until 01/21.
“The constitutional solution is for one representative and one senator to object to the electors and force a vote in the house by state delegation”
But you still need a majority in both the House and Senate in order to reject the votes of electors from any particular state.
SCOTUS just cut its own throat.

Even the courts work for us, We the People. Even the USSC
Rioting is now legal...
Rural folks should encircle the cities and not let any trucks in...call it Covid Precautions.
Trump should do whatever in his power to stop this injustice

CBS News Evening program said that Trump’s last chance is to have 1 House member and 1 Senator object to the electoral college votes on January 6, 2021. However they think he has no chance because Democrats control the house. I’m worried about the senate because of Mitt Romney, Susan Collins, and Lisa Murkowski might not vote to continue the debate if there is a fight between the house and senate over the electoral college votes.
Trump certainly has standing (although not to file an original action in the Supreme Court). He has filed actions in Wisconsin state court, Wisconsin federal court, Michigan state court, Michigan federal court, Arizona state court, Arizona federal court, Georgia state court and Georgia federal court. He has lost all of those cases-- on the merits, not based on standing. Most have been affirmed on appeal; in one or two of others the appeals are still pending.
Once the electors vote on Monday, any of those cases not already decided will become moot.
If the courts are going to claim lack of standing, then they should be required to state affirmatively what elements would be required in order to have standing. Otherwise, they can just dodge anything they want, which denies American citizens their right to access our legal system for resolution of disputes.
Right now the courts feel like an old-fashioned carnival game. “Step right up and win a prize!” Only, the game is rigged and no matter how hard you try you can’t win. WE HAVE NO JUSTICE SYSTEM. It’s just a phony come-on.
You got it. They want the prestige, the hand maidens waiting on them hand and foot, the fancy black robes, their place in history but don't think for a second they want to get their hands dirty.
I was glad to hear Mark Levin say my exact words about scotus. "The Supreme court is a joke!!". He finally woke up and smelled the coffee.
Interesting. Monday, I was getting a PET Scan, heard the same language.
The plains states, all deeply conservative, should starve the leftist states to death. Let them see how important “flyover country” truly is. Let them eat iPhones and tweets.
I’m done with this. I’ll be just waiting until after they steal the senate run off and hopefully thing will get hot. Our once great country is gone, history!
Cheerlead all you want but it’s over and seems no one has the guts to actually fight, well at least those on our side. Only spoken words and typing.
How will it be a hot civil war? Our side doesn’t have the stones to fight.
Defund ALL Feral Courts. Especially the corrupt SCOTUS. Those bastards overthrew the President of the United STates.
The great, the mighty Supreme Court.
Cowards in black robes. They will be judged and found wanting.
F*** these ARROGANT POSERS.
Yes, but if that state is involved with federal activitie it needs to comply with all states on an equal basis. What the state allows in their own state is their own business...but if it effects federal workings it should comply with federal requirements.
It's like in school, if you get marked wrong for an answer, you are never told why or what the correct answer should be.
