Supreme Court shoots down Texas lawsuit, but it isn’t over yet

Supreme Court shoots down Texas lawsuit, but it isn’t over yet
This decision has dramatic implications for the presidential election, but unless President Trump concedes, there are still plenty of options available.

The Supreme Court moved today to dismiss a case brought forth by the state of Texas to delay selection of electors in Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, Michigan, and Georgia. This is a blow to the Trump campaign’s hopes of correcting the election results that were fabricated by widespread voter fraud.

According to the Supreme Court, they denied the request over lack of standing. As The Right Scoop noted:

The Supreme Court has DENIED Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton’s lawsuit, which was signed onto by multiple states and supported by over 100 member of congress. There was a dissent from Alito and Thomas, but it seems to have been based on matters of jurisdiction and not the merits of the lawsuit.

Notably, the three justices appointed by Trump did NOT dissent from rejecting the case.

While this is a huge “downer” for many Trump supporters, the fight is far from over. As JD noted in the last episode of NOQ Report, the best scenario is that this case bought other lawsuits more time to get in front of the Supreme Court without having to worry about the December 14 deadline for selecting electors. Now, they have to rush, which they’ve been doing already, but that doesn’t mean the fat lady has sung.

The case before the Wisconsin Supreme Court tomorrow has real legs. Lin Wood has his case docketed. Sidney Powell and the Trump campaign all have cases working their way up the ladder. Until January 20th comes or President Trump concedes, the battle continues.

The Texas case wasn't our best shot, contrary to what so many have said. As I noted in the show last night, it had fatal flaws, and I didn't even mention standing.

But the truth is coming out. Better cases are coming up. I'm still at 90% sure President Trump wins, Lord willing.— JD Rucker (@JDRucker) December 12, 2020

This is all true. Texas did not demonstrate standing, particularly because their premise was based on how other states operated their elections. If they could have demonstrated direct voter fraud to change the results of the election itself, they have had a better chance. Thankfully, there are plenty of other lawsuits coming up that do demonstrate what is needed in order to correct the results of the election.

Time is the challenge. Can these other lawsuits get in front of the right people in time? We will see.

This is a blow to the confidence of many Trump supporters, but the fight is far from complete. There are still multiple angles and several weeks before January 20. Don’t let naysayer convince you President Trump isn’t going to win.

Ben won’t bitch about being in the minority, Being in the majority means he has to have a set of gonads and make important decisions. He just wants to pontificate and lose.

I like your post.

There is no reason to have a Constitution upheld by the Court or the offices it has provided.

To each their own.

Judges all know the left’s violent enforcers would be out for the literal blood of their families, if they ruled for Trump. They would FOREVER risk being murdered for this sin. Much easier to sidestep.

When you are not allowed to access election results and audit them, examine voting machines, while law enforcement agencies refused to investigate all the credible leads, and courts make all efforts to dismiss suits based on some legal technicalities, there is not much they can do.

It is very hard to produce ironclad proof courts demand. It’s catch-22. They block gathering of proof and turn around to say we have no real proof. This is truly a rigged game where some are brazenly breaking the law and others are busy covering up their asses.

It’s like Mafia kills somebody in broad daylight and everybody looks the other way.

The legal team has had done better in retrospect. However even if they did it perfectly, it will make them work a little harder to find the excuse.

Yep. Burn the Gadsden flags. Been trod on for years. Land of the free and home of the brave? Cowardly sheep, more like it.

Judges are nothing more than puffed up baboons.
As of now, the courts have no standing.

and anything that gets counted after that singular day isn't valid

How many historical presidential elections, especially before the advent of computers, not to mention telephone and telegraph, do you think had all the votes counted by midnight on election day?

I have been agnostic about the Q movement. But I fear that it is a disinformation campaign. Trust Sessions, Trust Barr, Trust Wray. Trust the Plan. When Benjamin Netanyahu and Boris Johnson acknowledged Biden in the form of congratulations, betraying their supposed friend Trump, it appears that they were recognizing reality. The Israelis and the British have good intelligence services.

At this point, Trump's main avenue would be to invoke the Insurrection Act and various Executive Orders because of Chinese, Iranian, Venezuelan, and Russian interference through Dominion. Hopefully, the military is loyal to the President. If they are, he can impose martial law on the disputed states and force an honest count or a new election. However, 48 or 50 Democratic Senators would join with at least 20 RINO Senators to impeach Trump.

Probably the majority. And certainly, NONE that changed the election outcome AFTER election day.

But hey...since the election of 1800 possibly had a dozen votes counted after midnight, it's a precedent and therefore there is no reason to call out the illegality of hundreds of thousands/millions of votes that directly affected the election results.

If they could have demonstrated direct voter fraud to change the results of the election itself, they have had a better chance.

Actions by non-Legislatures in those four States resulted in hundreds of thousands of invalid votes that DID change the results of the election.

Has anybody asked Justices Thomas or Alito (privately) exactly what we need to include in the “perfect” lawsuit to get this done?

They most certainly see the troubles ahead. They know we’re pissed. They want America to survive this mess.

What do THEY want to see in front of them? What lawsuit will succeed?

someone must be asking someone how to fix this within the system.

if not, sooner or later, things might get ugly. the rule of law has been tried... and found wanting.

If SCOTUS says you don’t have standing, then that’s the end of it. Asked & answered, as far as they’re concerned.

The only place you have standing after that is at the tree of liberty with the decision of whether to refresh it

We all prayed hard, 75 million of us.

They support abortion - we don’t.

They want God removed - we don’t.

They don’t want “Merry Christmas” - we do.

...

Yet in our hour of real need - where is our God?

It’s over. Democrats are always five steps ahead of Republicans. Republicans knew Democrats would throw the election and weren’t prepared to prevent it. Republicans continually get sand kicked in their faces and apparently enjoy it. Republcans launch investigations that fizzle. Democrats launch pit bull investigations that get congressional hearings and mega publicity. Let’s face it. Playing defense only never wins a game.
