Judges must be under big pressure and .....threats and/or corruption !

All judges? Even Trump appointed judges? Isn't it hard to believe in and establish such a widespread conspiracy?

Without Jesus-Christ and God the world is going down .

I agree with that.

I fail to see why a State (Texas and supporters) was not given the same judicial process, since many counties and complete States of MI, WI, PA, GA did similar and went against their own State Constitution electoral laws without due legislation. What am I missing?

Bush v. Gore was limited to Florida. You didn't have another state claiming that what happened in Florida disenfranchised their voters. Any complaints about how Pennsylvania conducts its elections impacts Pennsylvania voters not Texas ones. So it's a matter for Pennsylvania to deal with, which they did in the Kelly v. Pennsylvania decision.

That is our last hope. If enough States refuse to send Electors to the House to keep a candidate from the magic 270, it then if goes to the House with each State having one vote.

Biden has 306 electoral votes. You really think any of those are not going to vote for him?

You are wrong.

It's not a majority of ALL POSSIBLE ELECTORS (270).

It's a majority of ALL ELECTORS APPOINTED.

So, a State withholding it's Electors simply lowers the number needed to win.

Other places do not have the rampant critical race theory.

That is the issue. the hatred, not socialism.

My dear friend...

Most of my “out there” musings are unfortunately “right” these days.

I’d much rather be wrong.

Who spoke about a “conspiracy” , a widespread one ?

There are conspiracieS ( whatever can say the SSocialiberal mafia ) , threats and corruption alltogether .

I have heard about a conspiration to kill Jesus-Christ .....
It happened with PILATE’s help since he was frightened and finaly authorized Christ’s crucifixion .
It’s an old “story”

Well, I think a bigger problem than the Supreme Court being full of ivy-leaguers is the court being filled with career federal judges who have been doing the bidding of the beltway crowd for decades.. Guys like Kavanaugh were WAY too cozy with the DC establishment for me. For all the talk about "drain the swamp", Trump sure seemed eager to pack the courts with more "swamp creatures", with 95% of FReepers embracing that plan and cheering him on every step of the way.

Harriet Miers was a non-Ivy Leaguer (law degree from Southern Methodist University) and IMO was still a crappy SCOTUS pick. Of course, on the flip side, David Souter was a state supreme court judge rather than a career federal judge.

But either way, you make a good point, it would have been a much better plan to expand the eligible pool of SCOTUS judges. It certainly wouldn't have hurt to look more at NON-Ivy League grads, instead of picking from a "list" where 95% of the judges graduated from either Yale or Harvard. I have no doubt there are plenty of well qualified judges in this country that didn't attend those schools.

Trump needed to think outside the box and not just elevate more Bush league elites to the highest court in the land, and IMO his failure to do so (which is moreso the failure of his advisors and the Federalist Society dopes making up these "lists") have come back to bite us in the butt, big time.

And IMO the biggest problem is the GOP base not being critical of those choices and immediately heaping praise and falling in line to rubber stamp ANY judge touted as a "originalist" to a LIFETIME job on the highest court in the land. Now those same FReepers are foaming at the mouth demanding that Congress "impeach" Gorsuch/Kavanaugh/Barrett, just as they did after Roberts turned out to be a disappointment.

Go back and look at any thread discussing Gorsuch, Kavanaugh, or Barrett at the time of their confirmation. It's an echo chamber ("God bless PDJT!! Go Gorsuch! Go Trump! MAGA!!!"), and anyone who had reservations about the pick was dismissed as a NeverTrumper who wanted to stop him from his big MAGA victory.

If they didn't blindly trust his worthless "list" and happily support ANY judge Trump picked, we wouldn't be in this mess right now.

The point is we need to contest some swing states and we win. Don’t need to win in court only contest them.

In order to contest them and win on January 6th you're going to have to have a majority in the House and the Senate to approve. I don't see how that happens.

If all judges, like #1816 alleges, including state, metropolitan, district, State Supreme Court, US Supreme Court, are under "pressure", and "threats and/or corruption", wouldn't that make it a widespread conspiracy to "threaten/pressure or somehow corrupt" so many judges as have sat over the more than 50 cases in the past month?

Limiting oneself in ANY endeavor is moronic.

It’s even more pronounced when “limiting” choices on a matter like the SCOTUS.

Witness the mess we have now.

No, but that’s not the thing to do.

Here’s an interesting irony. I get bashed on here a lot for being a die-hard Cruz supporter until the bitter end in 2016, and for sincerely believing that Cruz would have made a stronger effort than Trump of finding ACTUAL conservative SCOTUS judges, instead of just paying lip service to that.

Cruz NOW says in hindsight that he had problems with BOTH of Trump’s first two picks (Gorsuch and Kavanaugh) and expressed those concerns to Trump privately:

Cruz says he raised concerns with Trump over Gorsuch and Kavanaugh before nominations
https://thehill.com/homenews/senate/520250-cruz-says-he-raised-concerns-with-trump-over-gorsuch-and-kavanaugh-before

Of course, that wasn’t what he said at the time... at the time he made sure to PUBLICLY be a “Team Player” and spread the Official Party Line about how awesome they were, and how fantastic it was that Trump picked them:

Cruz: Gorsuch A Principled Constitutionalist, and a ‘Home Run’
https://freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/3520032/posts

Bottom line, Ted Cruz should have had the balls to PUBLICLY express his doubts about Gorsuch and Kavanaugh at the time, if his gut feeling was they couldn’t be trusted. Instead, he just swallowed his pride and touted the administration’s propaganda, so he wouldn’t be seen as a bitter NeverTrumper.

So Ted Cruz has some flaws, but ironically its for the OPPOSITE reason most FReepers think are is his flaws.

Kinda like how Herbert Hoover was a crappy President, but for the OPPOSITE reason most Americans believe he was.

I supported Cruz initially too, because I didn’t thnink Trump was serious about it.

But as things wore on, I saw that Trump would not quit, just kept hammering away, and saying the things I myself would have said to the others as well.

He was the right man for the right time in our HIstory, much like Reagan was.
