Then, it will turn into, $1,200 for every man, woman, and child in the US, including anyone who is illegal or is not working or has never worked.
The stimulus should be a percentage of the taxes you’ve paid.

Sure, I am ok with this - just as long as the government cuts it’s spending by an equivalent amount ahead of time.
It’s the bright, shiny object that distracts our attention while anywhere from 700 billion or more goes towards graft, money for congressmen’s family’s businesses and organized crime.
If you didn’t lose you job or are not making less than before, which SS folks aren’t, why send the checks?
As for the PPP and other scams, so many large companies have abused it as well as connected families and organized crime.
Why would any southern or heartland person want this passed, since their states are not closed and should be doing fine.

Why not make it $10,000? or $50,000?

NO, Sanders does not. He wants to give $1,200 to SOME people to buy their vote but he does not want $1,200 to everyone.

Listen uncle scrooge, I worked for 40 years full time before retiring. What makes you think I do not deserve a stimulus check? My expenses are inflating faster than younger folks. Just look at where inflation is highest?
Food prices & health services. Both necessities for older folks. We can’t bypass either.
