A young rape victim and her twin babies were spared from the deadly violence and pain of abortion in Argentina this winter.
The Daily Mail reports the 12-year-old girl gave birth to her twins by cesarean section earlier this month at the Hector Quintana Maternal and Child Hospital in San Salvador.
However, abortion activists have latched onto the young girl’s story to pressure lawmakers in the country to legalize the killing of unborn babies in abortions. Currently, Argentina protects unborn babies’ right to life.
Reports claim the young girl was denied an abortion after she was raped earlier this year. However, it is not clear if the girl requested the abortion or even knew what an abortion is.
While The Sun reported that her cesarean section “will reportedly permanent scar on the girl’s body and could result in severe psychological trauma,” it failed to mention that the girl also could have suffered severe psychological trauma and/or physical complications if she had had the abortion.
The Mail claimed “authorities in Jujuy forced the child to remain pregnant” until her babies were developed enough to be born, but it also failed to mention that those same authorities spared her babies from the violent, deadly abuse of abortion.
The reports provided few details about the young victim or her abuser; however, The Sun did mention that she is in the care of the Children’s Ombudsman due to the “legal situation” of her parents.
Meanwhile, abortion activists, hoping to convince lawmakers to legalize abortion on demand, are using the young victim to push their agenda.
According to the Mail:
The Jujuy branch of Health Professionals for the Right to Decide released a damning statement on the handling of the case:‘Despite the fact that the National Directorate of Sexual Health made an offer to immediately resolve the situation, preserving the physical and emotional health of the girl, the authorities in charge of the local Health portfolio, rejected the proposal and they decided not to guarantee this girl her right to ILE (legal interruption of pregnancy),’ the statement read.
The Network of Health Professionals for the Right to Decide wants abortion to be “legal, safe and free” in Argentina. The president of the country recently introduced a bill to legalize abortions up to 14 weeks.
But the answer to abuse is not more violence against other innocent human beings. Abortions do not solve the trauma of rape, and they often do not provide relief or comfort – sometimes quite the opposite. Some rape victims have said their abortions only added to their trauma by making them feel violated again. Others have said it compounded their trauma when they realized that they had destroyed their unborn babies’ lives. Still others have said they were forced to abort their unborn babies by their abusers.
Young rape victims like the Argentine girl deserve better. They deserve the utmost care and compassion, and their abusers must be brought to justice. The babies of rape victims deserve better, too, because their lives are just as innocent and just as valuable, and they came into existence through no fault or action of their own.

If she can’t raise them, there are millions of couples waiting to adopt. Just saying.
Precious precious baby girls. Sad situation but I agree. It would be far worse to have aborted and put this young mother through more trauma.
The father needs to be imprisoned for life or shot!

This is good news. However, under no circumstances should the rapist have any parental rights. I mean none, never, for any reason. It would be sick to force her to interact with him.
The pope is not happy.
Actually, if true, he should be ended.
She will always know that she gave the gift of life. That’s a wonderful thing to carry with you.
“Resolve the situation”
Your run of the mill abortion doctor knows he is going straight to hell if he aborts two babies at once. This is why the Docs and nurses there refused to abort. Put the babies up for adoption.
I agree with you, but wasn’t there a case in the U.S. that a female judge granted a rapist parental rights.
We need to start a go fund me, just a thought. I’m happy to contribute to keep these babies with her mother. Just a thought…
Shot or other method of elimination. If abortion is the cure for rape, you are encouraging MORE rape. If swift capital punishment is the outcome to rapist or murderer after the rape, I believe there will be much less rape. Not the total solution as there are many other situations which are possible..but the solution must start somewhere.
One problem with capital punishment for rape. It leaves an incentive to kill the victim.
I think I heard that too. Forced the woman to let the animal have visitation!
Also far too many women lie about it to give the death penalty. They lie for promotions and workplace advantages, to get out of trouble, for money, for revenge, and just plain crazy. It’s a bad problem and a horrible disservice to actual victims.
Moral of the story for Leftists, “Three wrongs make a right.”
One rape and two murders later, they’d be happy.
Now they’ll be unhappy forever because three humans will get a chance
at life, not just one.

Wow, twelve years old is very young to be able to bear children.
