Real estate agency asks Trump fans to buy him [his] childhood home

Donald Trump's childhood home in New York -- already sold twice since 2016 -- is back on the market.

But this time, the real estate agency is appealing directly to the president's fans to buy the house for the unprecedented price of $3 million and offer it to Trump as a gift.

Paramount Realty agency on Tuesday launched a fundraiser on the crowdfunding site GoFundMe, calling on Trump fans to contribute towards the goal of reaching $3 million.

If the money is raised, the house will be given to the outgoing president.

The agency had recently tried to sell the house, located in the affluent Jamaica Estates neighborhood in New York's Queens borough, for $3 million at classic auctions, but without success.

But then they came up with the crowdfunding strategy, which has "never been done before," Paramount real estate agent Misha Haghani told AFP.

"It is more likely that one million people who love Trump would each give three dollars, rather than a wealthy buyer giving three million," he said.

Based on his real estate criteria, the mock Tudor five bedroom, four bedroom house -- where Trump lived until age four, when he moved to a more affluent home nearby -- is barely worth more than $1 million.

But its "intangible value" makes it "unique," Haghani said...

If the President wanted the place, don’t you think he would already own it? Man this realtor is dumb with a capital STUPID!

If Mr.Trump or anyone in that family wanted this house they would have bought it.
Three Million in a family like that is not going to break the bank.

Exactly. If the President wanted that property he could buy it (and the block it’s in) with a phone call.

It’s like the news reporting melania was getting marlargo ready to move into...when in fact they’ll be going there over Christmas and have a party there every year they prepare and spruce up for.

Get so tired of the bad press.

85-15 Wareham Place is a house in the Jamaica Estates section of Queens, New York City. It is the childhood home of U.S. President Donald Trump, and is the home listed on his birth certificate.[1]

Trump lived here until age 4, when the family moved to a larger house adjacent to the property.[2][3] It is located on Wareham Place near Henley Road.

Property values are going down right now in NYC. RE agents are having a hard time renting at the asking prices. People are bartering down the prices and asking for more conveniences. Anyone selling their property now is doing it at a loss.

I lived on Henley Road. But the Midland Pkwy home is much nicer. That’s the one Trump would consider his childhood home.

I also lived in Queens, for most of my life. Born and raised in Manhattan, we left there 50 years ago this past Oct (age 13) when my father bought a little house in the South Richmond Hill area of Queens. I later had apartments in various other sections, including Kew Gardens Hills and Flushing.

Did you ever run into him during the time you lived in his area?

Wow. so they're simply trying to fleece Trump supporters and make a triple profit off of the house. How would this not legally be a scam?
