They violated their constitutions by allowing their SOS and Governors to impose voting policies that only the legislatures could approve.

Yes. That’s the entirety of the case before SCOTUS. But all SCOTUS can do, is order them to “unviolate it”. If the state wants their electors to be recognized, it is up to them to remedy this violation in a constitutional manner. I don’t see how SCOTUS could do anything else.

SCOTUS should rule that their popular election was invalid. But they will punt it back to the state’s legislative branches to remedy it.

They could possibly impose a deadline to ensure the resolution is in place in time to be heard again, but I can’t see what else they could do.

The Supreme Court did NOT decline to hear the Pennsylvania case: they denied the request for a court order overturning PA election BEFORE HEARING the case.

If SCOTUS takes the case and rules in favor of Texas do any of us have confidence the legislatures in MI, PA, GA and WI will vote to select Trump electors over Biden electors? That is what the remedy will be if SCOTUS rules in favor of Texas and the state joining them.
