SEVEN states have now joined Texas lawsuit
Arkansas, Alabama, Florida, Kentucky, Mississippi, South Carolina, South Dakota and Lousiana…
SEVEN states have now joined Texas lawsuit, arguing that the Equal Protection Clause has been violated in this election from state-to-state. @Louisiana, Arkansas, Alabama, Florida, Kentucky, Mississippi, South Carolina, South Dakota. #StopTheSteal • #FightForTrump— Ali 🟧 #StopTheSteal (@ali) December 8, 2020
If SCOTUS takes the case and rules in favor of Texas do any of us have confidence the legislatures in MI, PA, GA and WI will vote to select Trump electors over Biden electors? That is what the remedy will be if SCOTUS rules in favor of Texas and the state joining them. I don’t see these RINO legislatures voting for Trump. Am I missing something?
I have the same question.
When these legislatures failed to do anything and some like Georgia were actually in on the steal, I have no confidence that their loyalty is not with us or President Trump. They could have acted and chose not to do so. I see them waiving their middle finger to the states that took them to SCOTUS and reconfirming what their state already chose.
But theoretically, Trump would win the vote in the House because there are about 27 Republican state delegations in the House and only 22 democRATic state delegations There may still be one or two in limbo yet but the count is in our favor.
I don't think Pence would be involved in this vote for the electors if the issue was forced to the House to decide if neither candidate could get 270 from the four state legislatures named in the lawsuit.
The Senate selects the vice president. With two senate seats in Georgia still up in the air until a Jan. runoff, it's possible for the Senate to select Harris.
So I suppose theoretically, Trump could win in the House and Harris in the Senate but now we're getting too far over our ski tips.
There is a good chance this whole thing could go ‘hot’ before it would ever get there.
We have a traitor to the people as governor.
Maybe someone else will help you and me out with this. I have the same concern about the state legislatures and I have no answer for that question.
Never underestimate the cowardice, venality, and self-interest of Republican politicians.
My worthless POS " Reps ".....are doing NOTHING!
I think if the SCOTUS agrees that the 4 states violated the equal protection clause, which they most certainly did, then their electoral votes will be tossed.
Then neither Trump or Biden has the 270 votes required.
This will make the 50 state houses vote for President, one vote each. Good news! Republicans have the advantage here. Trump wins.
call them and get your friends to do likewise!!!!
But harris is Jezebel!!!!
Who and how is it decided which way that one state votes goes? MI, WI, PA and GA could still decide there one state goes to what they certified and that would be biden.
No problem. What’s gonna be their proof in rebuttal? C’mon people, time to view the glass half full, not half empty. Do I have to do all the thinking around here? Good god, y’all.
You must join the suit brought by the State of Texas today against the states of Georgia, Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin. These four states badly mismanaged their elections, thereby disenfranchising the other 46 states that conducted (for the most part), free and fair elections. In addition to illegally changing the election laws without the approval of their state legistlatures, there is overwhelming eyewitness testimony from voters and volunteers in these states indicating that the election process was severely compromised.
As a refugee from California who has lived here in Wyoming now for two years, I can tell you firsthand what it is like to watch a state that was once conservative turn to one of the most liberal places in the entire nation. It happened because leaders in government got complacent and did not stand up for justice when they had the opportunity to do so.
This is your opportunity, as Wyoming Attorney General, to do the right thing for the voters of Wyoming. Stand up for our right to free and fair elections here in Wyoming. The eyes of the Wyoming voter are watching you.
Before that, why wouldn’t SCOTUS send it back to those states’ legislatures to appoint electors, as specified by the Constitution?
At which point we’re placing our trust in Republican legislators who have already demonstrated their disinterest in taking a principled stand.
I heard the hypothesis that Trump won California.
Unfortunately, there’s no way to prove it!!!!
I also heard that this one vote has to vote with their respective party...
So if this is the case, Trump would still win.
