Millions of people voted for Trump. They went to the ballot box. They showed their ID, filled out a ballot and they signed it.

These people were disenfranchised by millions of write in votes from people with no names no signatures no background nothing.

If that is true then those disenfranchised were the ones in the four states and not the voters in Texas. You may have a case, though to date the suits in Georgia haven't been at all successful, but Texas does not.

“Boom? Pop? Fizzle?”

Possibly, but what it does do for the non-shortsighted among us, is to put these states in a state of contention before the safe harbor date, which is today.

Safe harbor only applies to elections where the results are not in dispute

Sometimes you just want to think outside the box and look at the long game.

How were Texas voters disenfranchised? We only have the right to vote for Texas’s electors, not Georgia’s or Pennsylvania’s electors.

If the power of the Georgia, Pennsylvania, et al.’s legislatures under the Electors Clause has been usurped, then it is really up to them to sue. Unfortunately, they haven’t, and Texas can’t do it for them.

Interesting.

**************

I would say significant because it is showing the cracks in the system. Elections in some states have clearly become weaponized in a way that allows them to exercise undue influence on who the president is.

When a few states put their finger on the scale like this it was only a matter of time before the honest states would challenge it.

Its also significant because the red-blue divisions are getting sharper.

Texas is asking SCOTUS to allow state legislatures to do something they are already permitted to do?

Not so. Texas voted for Trump and awards their electors to him. If Pennsylvania’s election was turned to Biden illegally and its electors should have been awarded to Trump, it denies aggregation of Texas electors with Pennsylvania. Clearly, without doubt, Pennsylvania fraud devalues the votes of Texans.

It is absolutely amazing how few people understand the importance of this lawsuit. This cannot be refused on grounds of standing. It must be heard. It will be carried by Ted Cruz and maybe even Alan Dershowitz. It will force a public airing of the huge amount of evidence the media has been insisting doesn’t exist. It will likely lead to Trump’s ultimate victory. It will lead to people like Kemp and Raffensperger and many others facing criminal charges.
It will fully expose John Roberts when he votes with the 5 4 minority. It will lead to fruitful reexaminations of the Michigan, Arizona and maybe the Virginia Senate races
as well as the eight House races that were stolen thereby giving Republicans the total control of our federal government Trump earned for them with very little help. It will isolate Pierre Deleto Susan Collins and smarten up Lisa Murkowski. And even so even OAN is doing pieces featuring the NeverTrump opinions of Andy Boy McCarthy - ugh where is the rightful jubelation?
Let’s see if the media covers this by reporting “Today, some people did some things at 1 First Street NE in Washington DC.”

[...Texas DID NOT say a word about it coming, just Trump...]

You are assuming this is what Trump was referencing.

I think Trump has his own boom coming. Just a hunch.

Can you imagine Cruz and Dershowitz jointly presenting this before the supremes?

Clearly, without doubt, Pennsylvania fraud devalues the votes of Texans.

************

At a minimum a small number of states is wielding disproportionate influence (as a result of election fraud) over who the president is going to be.

Its kind of similar to price fixing when a few companies set the price of something rather than allowing it to be determined naturally through free and legitimate elections. Not saying the states colluded with one another; just that there was a coordinated effort by some politicians and their political masters to fix the outcome of a national election.

If there’s no remedy for this our republic is a farce.

But without that decision, the EC count stands in limbo. We’d be in uncharted territory.

It wouldn't be uncharted territory. The democrats did this in 2004, 2008, and again in 2016. It just means the two chambers have to hear the objection and there is a time limit on how long they can speak (I think I read it's two hours.). Then they can simply ignore the objection and go on with the vote. It's been done before.
