Nearly all of Pennsylvania’s counties are seeing substantial spread of the coronavirus, Gov. Tom Wolf’s administration said Monday.
The Wolf administration said 66 of Pennsylvania’s 67 counties have seen substantial spread of COVID-19. It’s the second week in a row that all but one of the state’s counties has shown substantial spread of the coronavirus.
Statewide, the rate of positive tests for the coronavirus has risen to 14.4%, up from 11.7% last week. Flourish logoA Flourish chart

The state has regularly eclipsed highs for new COVID-19 cases in recent days. On Saturday, the state reported a one-day record of 12,884 new cases. More than 11,000 deaths have been tied to COVID-19.
More than 5,000 coronavirus patients are being treated in hospitals. Some health care officials have expressed concerns about the surging numbers straining the staff and capacity of hospitals.
Wolf and Health Secretary Dr. Rachel Levine have urged Pennsylvanians to wear masks and to stay home as much as possible. The stay-home advisory is not a directive but Wolf has urged residents to avoid unnecessary travel, including over the holidays.
“The latest update continues to show the effect COVID-19 is having in Pennsylvania,” Wolf said in a statement Monday. “The mitigation steps in place are necessary to prevent our health system from being overrun. We are approaching that point, which is why we need all Pennsylvanians to follow these measures as part of their collective responsibility to protect one another and the health system.”
Every county in Pennsylvania has a positive COVID019 test rate of at least 5%, a level the state has considered a sign of significant community spread. Nine counties have positive test rates of at least 20%: Mifflin, Potter, Bedford, Montour, Juniata, Somerset, Tioga, Franklin and Lawrence.
For clarity, here is the list of counties with substantial spread and the lone county in Pennsylvania seeing a low spread of the virus.

That guy Levine didn’t put numbers all over this so you have to “mouse over” each county. No breakdowns on hospitalization type, cause, CCP-19, or what. Still looks like the FearPorn of the story is bovine excrement.

The Houston area has a dashboard with numbers and one can see that Marxist Media is full of cow manure every night concerning CCP-19 virus loadings.
‘No breakdowns on hospitalization type, cause, CCP-19, or what.’
probably because the data is from 2017...
