During a Monday interview with CNN’s “New Day,” Georgia Lt. Gov. Geoff Duncan (R) pushed back against allegations of voter fraud or a rigged election in his state. Duncan and Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp (R) recently shot down calling a special legislative session to overturn the results of the state’s general election.

Although some Republicans have claimed the election was rigged in Georgia, which certified former Vice President Joe Biden as the winner, Duncan said he believes his state’s election process “was fair and legal.” He added Georgia’s recount will “verify what we originally came up with.

I saw a poster say on another thread that "...Right now, in GA alone, the Governor, Lt. Governor, Attorney General, Secretary of State, Legislature, is sitting by losing another fight..." I responded by saying:

I have a gut feeling you are seeing this incorrectly. I am not sure the GA Governor and Lt. Governor are "sitting by losing another fight".

I think they are fighting their fight, and winning, and I don't think it is the same fight with the same goals that you, I, the citizens of Georgia, the President, or other conservatives are fighting.

I believe the Governor and Lt. Governor are fighting to delay, stall, obfuscate, and kill investigation into this malfeasance. It is my opinion, and I could be wrong, but I have a feeling that is what we see.
