Howdy, luvie.

It’s been a weekend. Nothing special.

No, we didn’t go out. I’ve been working on those lampshades all weekend.

I hope your weekend’s been a good one.

Howdy, E.G.C. ((HUGZ))

Thanks for sending some of your pretty weather over our way. LOL! It’s been a bit chilly but at least there was sunshine.

How many layers are you piling on these days to survive your outings with Gizmo?

Well, I have a couple of layers of clothing this morning. It's nice during the day though.

It was a good weekend. Didn’t do much, but that suits me just fine. LOL!

I hope you’re nearly done with those lamps. That has got to be one of the most tedious jobs ever. I’ll bet they look beautiful though.

Well, it’s very late, so I’d best go. See ya tomorrow! Hope you have some pretty weather to enjoy.

That sounds a bit like here. Daytime temps haven’t been too bad but the nights have been cold. We have two cold days ahead, then we’ll warm up to 60s by the end of the week. That will be niiiiiiiice!

Looks like Gizmo had a grand time dragging you around the lake yesterday.

I’m shocked to see you were up this late. LOL

Glad your weekend was a good one. Nice and quiet is the way to go.

Down to the last lampshade now and it’s a monster. A lot larger than any of the rest. I put it off for last and now I wish I hadn’t. I dread cleaning it but it must be done. I just hope it isn’t as grungy as the one I finished tonight.

Sleep well. A little catching up on news and I’ll start the before-bed routine.
Glad I don’t need to go anywhere. It’s gonna be a right nippy day and I really don’t feel like with the cold. I’m ready for spring already. LOL

It’s really cold this morning, but at least no SNOW! :-)

My sister in Northern Maine got 14 inches though.

If you haven't seen them, this guy "Drachinifel" produces some great naval analysis, sometimes humorous, always interesting and informative. He did a three part series on the Pearl Harbor Salvage. It has a lot of footage I had never seen. Well worth the time.

The Salvage of Pearl Harbor Pt 1 - The Smoke Clears

The Salvage of Pearl Harbor Pt 2 - Up She Rises!

The Salvage of Pearl Harbor Pt 3 - The First and the Last

I won’t be ready for spring until I’m able to forget the hell-summer that we had. I don’t want to deal with that EVER again.
