I was 7 years old December 7th 1941 in a family of Mom and Dad, two brothers and three sisters and remember hearing about Pearl Harbor on the radio that day. By June my two brothers were drafted, one sister joined the Wacs and the other sister moved to Redwood City to work in a “defense plant” leaving my little sister and I alone on the farm in FResno county...

Howdy, Kathy.

Not too cold here today but tomorrow will be a different story. Not nearly as cold as it is in your neck o’ da woods though! WHEW! We did have freezing fog a couple of nights.

It’s been good weather to stay inside working on the lamps. I’ll finish one tonight, then there’s a really big one to do for the finale. I’ve had a little break to eat supper and catch up on some news but it’s time to get crackin’ again. *sigh*

It's December and it's COLD, 30 degrees for the high today but no real snow yet.

Zero degrees at 9am, but up to 18 now. And the plows came later this afternoon...our street is plowed!

My Dad was Army in CBI and I have his account of his time. Invaluable pieces of first hand history for us.
