The longer this goes on the more I am reminded of the passage, I think from Solzhenitsyn about the purpose of getting people to admit to patently ridiculous things is to abolish the concept of dignity.
This isn’t about public health. If it were they’d quarantine the sick and not the healthy. Because nobody has any immunity to this disease, barring a vaccine, the only way it is going to go away is for everyone to get it.
I write this as my wife and I have the disease. So it isn’t like I am just blowing smoke. While symptomatic, will avoid people if we can. I do not expect healthy people to avoid each other.
the hysteria isn’t fixable. the best we can hope for is an honest retrospective once the insanity is over.
the democrats, politicized science in general, and especially the msm are all going to have a lot to answer for if we ever get to the truth.

There is a very easy explanation which is, that some of these bastards are control freaks and thrive by knowing they have the power to control YOU. If socialists ever gain full control, what you see now is just an appetizer and you better get used to it. Once corruption, fraud, hypocrisy, patronage and lies become the order of the day and the new normal, what was clearly shown during the last election, which more or less was just a practice run; rest assured this country has seen its better days.
One word. Power.
It’s still going on because the vast, VAST majority of people are absolute morons who are more than happy to surrender every right they have, in exchange for the false promise of protection from what is at best an exaggerated thread, and at worst an entirely imaginary threat.
They don’t want people forming a consensus about the stolen election.
