President Donald Trump’s legal team began a forensic analysis of Dominion voting machines in Michigan after a judge on Friday permitted the examination.
“Our team is going to be able to go in this morning at about 8:30 [a.m.] and will be there for about eight hours to conduct that forensic examination and we’ll have the results in about 48 hours, and that’ll tell us a lot about these machines,” attorney Jenna Ellis told Fox News on Sunday.
“A judge actually granted our team access … to conduct a forensic audit,” Ellis added.
Ellis was referring to a ruling from a judge in Antrim County, Michigan, who authorized the audit of 22 Dominion Voting Systems machines, said Trump lawyer Rudy Giuliani. It’s not clear which of the several election lawsuits the order originated from.
Later, Antrim County spokesperson Jeremy Scott told the Detroit Free Press that forensic images will be taken from voting machines used during the Nov. 3 election. Judge Kevin Elsenheimer issued the order regarding a challenge from voter William Bailey, who filed a lawsuit alleging that ballots were damaged in a recounting of ballots in a marijuana proposal that narrowly passed, reported Fox News. Elsenheimer’s order doesn’t mention the presidential race, and it’s not yet clear if the order allows Trump’s team to examine the machines.

The judge let it happen now because he knows they had enough time to wipe them.
Trump has $200 million in donations since the election to stop the steal, of which he’s spent very little. He should have the best analysts that money could buy there to look at these machines. They should even offer to buy the machines and give full replacement, as some recovery options require destruction.

Having worked with computers since 1960 (IBM 7070 was a decimal-architecture intermediate data-processing system that was introduced by IBM in 1958. It was part of the IBM 700/7000 series, and was based on discrete transistors rather than the vacuum tubes of the 1950s. It was the company’s first transistorized stored-program computer)
I can say that any computer with storage memory can be wiped clean with no chance of data retrieval. There are scores of utilities available for anything in the world.
The very ability of memory bytes to store data makes it vulnerable to over-write it. The best you can retrieve is a date stamp of when the machine was last accessed. But that does not prove it was wiped clean and reloaded with clean software.
Any and all votes that in places that used software such as Dominion that has the capabilities to weight votes should be thrown out.
Too bad the FBI can’t be trusted to do the forensic examination.

If the seized German server story is real, then it hardly matters. Trump has the proof already.
And if Trump's team didn't have the German server, then he surely would have sent the military in to take custody of the Dominion machines a long time ago.
If the German story is true, when will it have any significance? In courts? In Legislatures?
Sure it can but it's not ever as easy as simply hitting the delete key. It typically requires a product like the now infamous Bleach Bit to overwrite the drives many many times, which is time consuming, and leaves a blank slate behind.
Did they Bleach Bit (etc) every system, and re-install, which would typically require touch labor? I doubt it.
But even if they did, my point was, with the amount of money Trump has in his stop the steal war chest, he should be able to hire forensic investigators equivalent to those who WROTE Bleach Bit to analyze these systems for mistakes, or proof of use. Specialists in this field of expertise, not just computer guys with decades of experience. Thanks.
“Rights” are not worth the paper they are written on if there is no enforcement of those rights.
There are several utilities (most free) to wipe storage devices. They perform over-writing different bytes in multiple passes.
The old saying comes to mind...
“There are none so blind as they who will not see”
And what will become of it?
Will it be as meaningless as having had Republican “observers” at ballot counting centers?

I already addressed that. Everything leaves a trace of misconduct, somewhere, if the right person is looking into it.
Is this Trump’s team? Or one of the many other teams that have filed suit?
