LA County Mayor: Refusing To Wear Mask Is “Act Of Domestic Terrorism”

As 4 million LA residents were ordered to stay indoors Wednesday night, the mayor of one Los Angeles county sparked backlash this week for declaring that anyone who does not wear a face mask is committing an “act of domestic terrorism.”

“If it were up to me, anybody not wearing a mask when they are out in public would be arrested … That’s an act of domestic terrorism and should be treated like one,” Lancaster, California, Mayor Rex Parris, said recently, according to the LA Daily News.

 

Imagine a world where you are pounced on by cops and dragged off to jail, then charged with terrorism, all for just breathing.

And why is it always the most “liberal” leaders that are the first to flip and start with the most draconian rhetoric?

Not wearing a mask is domestic terrorism? Oh no, I don’t wear a mask outside. I have an employee who is hard of hearing, but he read lips. We don’t want him to get hurt, so no masks outside. Construction is dangerous, we don’t need masks to make it more difficult.
