One really enjoyed very much the way Rudy handled that Camerelli punk.

They are typical politicians. No sense of urgency or true need to get anything accomplished.

I expect nothing from them

chair— thanking everyone for being heard and appearing. disappointed in partisan tone of some, apologizing to witnesses for that. adjourned.

some of the questions revolved around future considerations to be taken. while that’s ok the current election is the main problem. rudy focused on 1 the mail in ballots and 2 the dominion software. hopefully that would be enough for the michigan republican legislature to act. a special revote? the current vote is a hot mess...

contrasting michigan with PA, at least MI held a formal legislative committee hearing. Has PA done that yet? (So that represents a small step forward, perhaps)

Enjoyed reading Rudy asserted that Barr doesn’t really want to know what has gone on. That’s sadly, quite true.

It’s exactly the same in Georgia. I contacted both my state house rep and senator, and they both hid behind the “well, they’re doing the recount” bit. It is obvious they want no part of any controversy or any decisive action that might have any blowback. Ironically, they didn’t seem the least bit intimidated by my stated intention not to vote for them in the future.

We've been told for a month that this ...

... won the election by 80 MILLION VOTES.

Slam-dunk. "We called it, Trace." It's all certified.

Then why was this committee so hostile?

Why were the libs so defensive and angry? (Calling witnesses liars!)

Why were the repubs so obtuse and squishy? (Voter fraud? Ew, what's that?)

They know this is BS. And they know the results of this "election" can be changed!

it’s difficult for me to discern whether trump and rudy are just playing or grasping at straws or pleading.

i suppose i can remain optimistic that trump still has some trump (sorry) cards up his sleeve, particularly smoking gun evidence, stuff from frankfurt, and military tribunals.

the main problem now imho is that the MSM (along with some repub collaborators) is busy cementing the notion that biden won and trump is a sore loser. the longer that notion remains the dominant MSM theme, the more difficult it will become for legislators in swing states to overcome that theme with their constituents. if there is a deux ex machina push for trump at a overly late time, the stage could be set for widespread violence such as immediately prior to the Civil War (eg Kansas) in states with divided loyalty populations if and when pro trump supporters succeed in pushing trump over the top. rep cynthia johnson seems to be talking past the audience and exclusively to her core constituents with her doxxing and partisan baiting antics— we could multiply that kind of attitude if not behavior by 50% of the voting age population across the country to forecast the difficulties ahead even if trump is to prevail.

My feed is behind, but some MI rep is saying that what they need is a ‘hand recount’.

I want to see a forensic examination of the voting machines.

You ask?

Eizabeth Warren was elected twice- and Maxine Waters has been elected repeatedly since 1991.

...a special revote?

Not enough time for a revote.

The remedy is for the legislators to take back their right to pick electors and then to vote according to how their constituents would want the electors to be assigned.

it reads like the elected officials are being squishy or confrontational, at least the donks, which would be expected. RINO’s being the squishy ones.

You've got it. Perfect description.

The chairman is an R, I think, and he seemed to be the strongest R on the committee. He asked sincere questions and quickly shot down anyone out of order.

There was another named Reilly who seemed to be clear-headed.

But Q-Ball#2 (white guy) and LaFave seemed content to leave their heads buried in the sand. They couldn't seem to grasp the idea of voter fraud. LOL--in Detroit! I guess they've become so use to corruption that it's normal to them now.

Their behavior sure didn't convince anyone there WASN'T corruption.

Rudy's closing statement was brilliant. He challenged all of them, especially the squishy ones, to look at the evidence, to look past themselves and do the right thing for the country.
